A friend tried Purex 3-in-1 today and said it worked great. (If you buy it, the deal is actually better at Walgreens which has it for $5.99 minus the $2 coupon and $2 RR making it only $1.99 compared to CVS for 6.99 minus $2 coupon and $2 ECB making it 2.99. It's not advertised in the Walgreens ad, but it was posted on another website as a better deal.)

I read on another website that the only insert scheduled nationwide was SmartSource today.

Thanks! I was looking at it at Walgreens today and none had a sign for that deal. I'll get some tomorrow.

The other website says it's a monthly RR deal at Wags. I think if I have enough energy (still ) I'll head there later today. Still need to do my CVS plan of attack too but I don't think I'll try to figure that one out until my goes away.

I went to Walgreens in Oakdale and on White Bear/Larpenteur and our price is $6.99 for the Purex, so it's the same deal as CVS, must be other states that get the $5.99 price.

Also did this freebie deal at Walgreens:

My mom brought me her coupon inserts so I went to CVS again to get more razors and cereal. My husband's card only has $10 in Extra Bucks and they were going to expire at the end of this week, so I thought I'd do the razor deal again even though I still have to pay 99 cents each. Anyway, they were wiped out of razors and trimmers, but I saw some "Wolverine" edition that didn't have a tag. They scanned at the sale price and gave the extra bucks.

You will need to throw in a filler to get over the $25 but they have lots of candy bars for 50% clearance so one of those would work. The total will be roughly $11 (depeding on what filler you use and obviously add tax). You will get back $10 in SCR plus the the Listerine and Reach will count towards the Johnsons spend $25 get $10 SCR. Not a bad deal for stuff we use!

I think I saw you! You were going into the store on WB/Larpenteur as I was pulling into the parking lot and by the time I got in the store and looked up and down every aisle, you had vanished! Where did you go so fast? Were you on jet propelled rollerskates?! I wanted to say HI LANAJAE, I'm SHIPOO!

The cashier spent twice as much time looking over every coupon, then advancing the register tape and comparing it to the coupons and then holding each item up to the coupon than I took getting it all. I don't know what her issue was, I was still paying $3-something anyway.

Anyone have any great ideas to use a 10 off 30 and 4 off 20?

I had 2 of the 4 off 20's that expire Friday so I went and did the kotex (4 boxes, so I think I still have 2 left) and the Purex. Thats when the 10 off 30 printed and it expires Thursday. Its too great to pass up!!!

I thought about doing the sunglasses but all of ours seem to be $14.99 and UP!! The ad says they start at $5.99 but I didn't see any anywhere near that cheap.

I know I'll do the razor, if our store has it in stock and probably 2 more Kotex if I find some more coupons. I have an Act raincheck that I could use too, but from there I'm stuck.

I think the same lady at the White Bear Ave. CVS that hates you, hates me too. She and I had a "disagreement" over a kleenex coupon a couple months ago. Jim is a sweetie, isn't he? He ALWAYS says to me on the way out, "I think WE just paid YOU to shop here, didn't we?" I think he's always there on the day shift M-F. The witchy lady is there after his shift ends and I think she maybe works occasional weekends but not on a regular basis. The weekend girls are young and nice especially the long, dark haired one who is very pretty I think. And yes, I've got plenty of body wash now from Wags. I used all my stored up coupons so I'm all set for about the next three years.

Did you check the kids' sunglasses? I found some at $6.99. I haven't tried the Aveno deal, but I would do it if I had your $/$$ coupons. I'd get:

The Walgreens lady smiled after she saw that I had all the right coupons, if I'm in a good mood, I pretend they just want to copy the deal lol. The manager at White Bear/Old Hudson sees me and says "oh are you here to work the system again?" He's such a jerk. I'm sorry that lady hates you too, but I'm glad she hates more than just me! I try to avoid women cashiers that are my age. Sometimes I wish for the old days when premarin was handed out like candy.

What about the sunglasses? All of them at our store were $19.99 but I have heard reports of some people finding them for $5.99.... Has anyone tried the kids to see if they work?

I only got Kotex and the cookies that were on sale and the $0.25 barbecue sauce

It seems a lot of us are a little upset with our DH's this past week. Is he remodeling an old car as a hobby or something like that?

I do the same thing at Walgreens. I never buy more than one (okay, occasionally two....) RR producing item in each trip and I try to never go in the same store more than once a week as well. Same goes for CVS trips~~once a week. Remember the band aid sheriff clerk at Mahtomedi? She once commented that I had been in that store three times that week. That's when I knew I had to cut back! I think I drove her to quit. I haven't seen her for months.

Here's my suggestion - enjoy the nice weather and take some time off from CVS'ing because this week stinks!
I got tp and pt the razor and the mouthwash and nothing was great.

Maybe all you CVS gurus can help me out. Today I got a CRT for $2 off two 3oz sugar free bags...what in the world is this referring to? Candy I would think?

Also, any suggestions for a $3/15 on facial skin care products? I'm at a loss for any good deals this week, although I did get 3 razors and stocked up on cereal.
