Cvs weekly 6/14-6/20

I keep more ECB on my main card, and less on my sister's card. I only use hers for things I really need. I also don't do all of the deals unless it's a moneymaker, or something we'll use. Next week I'll do soyjoys on both cards, because my kids like them, but I only have coupons for one card. I'll do the heat wraps on both because it's a MM with the coupon. I will pay for some things, if I can get them cheaper.

I'm actually relieved lol, was thinking about walking up and down every aisle in another store today and that's not much fun.

I'm so glad I was able to do the deal yesterday!

I have never seen CVS fix a deal like this mid week....I wonder if that is going to be the case going forward? I'll have to keep closer tabs on things because sometimes I don't check the other sites every day!

Sadly, I can confirm that I just bought two packs of the $.99 wipes and did not get the ECB. I didn't question it, knowing it wasn't really meant to be part of the deal. Now I have to decide if I'll return them or keep them. For $1.98 I'm sure we'll use them sometime.

You'll use them... they can also clean computer & tv screens..

Okay, well I guess now that the lens tissues are a dead deal, it doesn't matter but I did stop at the Maryland/Arcade store and they didn't have anything like that either. I guess we don't have to search anymore now.

I did do the Aveeno deal because I had four $2 mfg. coupons to use (one shampoo and one conditioner for $6.50 each, one body lotion for $6.00, and one daily moisturizer for $3.49) and the Soy Joys were already marked with the tag 4/$4 giving the $4 ECB's already today. The tag read starting on 6/21 so I didn't want to buy them and not get the ECB's so I asked the manager if that had started already. He said yes because that store was a test market to have a second ad starting midweek. I didn't have my Soy Joy mfg. coupons with me since I thought the deal started on Sat. night/Sunday but decided to go ahead and buy them anyway. I also bought 3 Kelloggs raisin bran cereals using 3 $1 mfg. coupons on those. I wanted to get to $30 total because I had a $10 off $30 for the first time ever but it was only good for three days and it expired today. So my OOP was $1.31, I used a $10 ECB and got $14 back in ECB's.

Oh, and the coolest part~~I got another $10 off $30 on my CRT! Yippee! Now I have to figure out another deal fast since it expires in three days.

You aren't going to believe this - I went to the Aldi in Mahtomedi because St. Paul was out of some things, so I decide to stop at CVS to do the Aveeno deal, even though it would cost.. well, they had the Style Science glasses tissues and all the other accessories. I could have easily went there instead last night, but thought I'd have better luck the other direction.

I guess we are having the sale start Thursday now because the ad is coming in the mail instead of the paper. I wonder how long that will last?

Also, for anyone still working on Aveeno, I found out the the lotion that has menthol in it is supposed to be $7, but it is ringing at $4.25 (50% off) and it does count for the deal. I had to go back and get another so I spent $1.50 more than I wanted.

The lens tissues were on the round sunglasses displays (on the bottom row) right in the center of the summer stuff with a few of the other items that supposedly worked and then along the back wall by the makeup, on a hanging card, there were cases for $2.99 that were reported to work for the deal. If you or I had gone to that store, we would have found them right away lol

I did get the $5/30, haven't used it yet, but my husband only got the 30% off online email.
