CVS Weekly 4/11-4/18

If it's true, I can't see it lasting long. At my store they sometimes can't even get rid of it at 90% off. I remember at christmas they were giving stuff away with every purchase in mid January Every person that bought something got to pick one christmas item free.

If they decide to save it for next year, they will have to pay storage fees or have the stuff in the way.

I can't see it lasting either! I won't even look at it until it is at least 75% and even at 90% some of the stuff they have to beg people to take.

The Easter stuff was 75% off at my CVS yesterday, but it the good stuff was gone -- mostly cheap chocolate and stuffed bunnies left.

I just bought the remaining bags of Peanut M & Ms, YUMMY!

Question: Can I freeze them?

(That is, if we don't eat them all before tonight?)



Seriously, has anyone frozen them successfully, ie they still tasted good when thawed?

I was told yesterday that CVS Corporate said no more 90% off ever and has changed their schedule for seasonal clearance and that only select items will ever reach 75% off. I hope that's not true.

Our CVS was 75% off when I went Sunday. They didn't have a ton left, but did have Kisses, Skittles, Starburst, etc... (I got Starburst)

mafibisha, Thanks for the tip about the sunscreen. I don't do CVS often so wasn't sure what the deal would be. I'll try a different one when I go out later this week.

This is why I should read the thread BEFORE going to the store. I got the coupon and didn't do anything with it.



I had my eye on the Easter stuff but not for only 50% off. Like I need more Jelly beans to put in my pockets while I walk around the house.

Now for my adventures!

I went to the CVS and did the dial (no coupon) and the Dove (again, no coupon)

Paid with ECBs and just about $2.00 OOP.

Bought the.......

Jergens Natural Glow!!!!!! (I of course had 2 $1.00 off coupons)

used my ECBs to pay plus about $6 OOP and walked out with 5 ECBs. Not bad for just getting back in. Plus I was so excited that there was finally a Jergens deal I didn't care that I spent real money.

I also decided there are far too few pictures on this thread so I decided to take a pic of my stuff. Nerdy? You bet!

Now I can be fake tan for our WDW trip. Yay!!!

Ok, hopefully this works. This was my haul yesterday. I alos got 4 cases of soda. Total OOP for the day was a hair over $1

Today I stopped at Target and did the Gilette. razor deal. I bought two, used the $4 coupons and got back $5 giftcard. Then I bought 5 boxes of the special K granola cereal. Paid with the $5 giftcard and 3 $1 coupons and a $2/2 coupon. My husband works PT at Target so I also saved 10% off of the after coupon cost. Got back another $5 giftcard. Thought those were pretty good deals!

I hope it is not true too Lana !! The Easter stuff was still 50% , but they did have some 75% off other stuff and I got me 4 kitchen towela for 25c each!!!!

WOW 25 cent distowel!! I need to find these. I use them so much. I also use them on the deck table in the summer as placemats..they look pretty

The limit on the Schick razors is 2. I stopped and did that deal again on both cards. I also got 4 more rolls of TP and I did the Fruitopia on both card. It is on sale this week for $2.50 and I got $2 CRT's out of the scanner for it.

One good thing about being unemployed again is that I have more time to do the deals

So I'm still not sure what I'm going to do this week, but I'm pretty sure I'll take advantage of the Nivea or Jergens deal. The only thing with the Jergens deal is that each fake tan lotion is $7 so 2 of those is only $14. They don't sell anything for $1 to get to $15. Anyone know how much the Nivea is? Not that I need lotion. I need lotion, body wash, and shampoo like I need a hole in the head. I will do the Dove conditioner though. If my store has any left, that is.

For anyone considering the P&G deal, I got my P&G $100 coupon booklet in the mail Monday. There were two $1 off bounty coupons, two $1 off Charmin coupons and a 25 cents off three puffs coupon.

There's also a bunch of coupons for metamucil and clear blue easy if anyone wants them please let me know as they were high dollar coupons and I won't use them and I hate to see them go to waste.

ETA - I'm considering the Biore deal. I have some coupons for buy the pore strips get a free cleanser - I've just got to check the expiration on them.

Our store finally marked some Easter to 75%, but left the candy at 50%, I got another razor with the $3 disposable coupon, didn't even think to use that before. I think I should go in every day and get those 2 free rolls of TP lol, not very often we get that free.

If a sale is B1G1F limit 6, do they track this like they do ECB? They have the Colgate kids toothbrushes B1G1F this week and I still have a bunch more $1/1 coupons so I was thinking of going back to get more. My kids love these and after coupons/sale they are 2 for 99 cents. Thanks!

If it doesn't produce extra bucks, those limited are by transaction, so you could get the limit for each transaction

Yeah, I was pretty happy. I actually had 3 of the biore b1g1 qs and the $1 coupons were just luck when I went to the store today. I have to admit I was thrilled that she gave me the regular price and not the sale price for the free price. I thought I end up with $6 OOP.

The coke coupons were peelies. I got them a couple of weeks ago. I went to grab a couple and ended up with half the pad coming off in my hand. I was too embarrassed to put 'em back. So I just used the two I'd meant to grab and put the rest in my purse. I've been using them up every time I go so at least they're getting used.
