CVS Weekly 4/11-4/18

Thanks again for this thread!!

2 Neutrogena Baby Suncare 9.99/each

Pretty good, considering how expensive that sunscreen is! My DS is very sensitive so I'm hoping this stuff works. Glad I went today, I got the last 2 bottles of it. Those things are tiny, too!

I also figured out today that I lost the $5 ECB from the Huggies deal. :( Can't find it anywhere.

This is the only sunscreen that does not kill our eyes. We spend most every summer weekend at the beach, and have tried every sunscreen. The Neutrogena ones are great for both kids and adults.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but the $1 off cvs skincare works with any brand, not just CVS. I used it on the nutriskin bodywash today without any beeps.

The $1 CVS brand paper item says "brand" on it, but the $1 CVS skincare does not say brand on it.

Hope that helps!

WWYD question!!

I just noticed that the 2 Neutrogena sunscreens I got for DS are expired. (expired 2010/03)... both of them. :(

The store is closed.

My thoughts are to just hang on to them and the receipt and take them back when they get more to swap out, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into this before.

TIA!

*eta* I was in a rush before, I guess my biggest question is... if I take them back now (while they have no more stock) I figure it would mess with the ECBs... so I *think* it's better to hang on to the receipt and just go back and swap when I see more on their shelves?

Hi all. This week actually turned out pretty good for me. Had $20 in bucks to roll because I will be away next week in Disney :cool1:

I bought:
Schick Razor
Dial body wash
Dove Shampoo
2 CVS Toilet Paper (thanks for pointing that out Flaky!)
4 Cases Coke Zero

Used:
$4/$20 face care CRT, $2 Schick, $1 Dial IP, $1.50 Dove, $2 $1/2 Coke coupons (from Heart Healthy booklets that I had seen at CVS and Rite Aid a few months ago), $1 paper product CRT

On my other card with similar coupons I did everything except the soda. I broke even for the day :thumbsup2

Anyone know what the limit is on the Schick? It is more than 1 since it didn't say limit reached on my receipt. I will probably be stopping back later this week to get more razors, toilet paper and the moist wipes (thanks ShiPoo owner!).

party:
Starting this week you have another reason to post
FREE or ALMOST FREE STUFF

Starting with this weeks post...

I will keep track of the posts. On Wed. I will count the posts. The person who has posted the most "Tips" will win a envelope filled with coupons. Most that are for CVS for Free or almost free things. There will be at least one coupon for something free.. could be a bag of chips, a coke a box of tampons or even toothpaste:laughing: I will also add coupons for items for the next weeks deals. Just a little thank you for making this thread rock.

So, on Wed (April 14 this week) I will send someone a pm asking for mailing info in order to send out the coupons in time to use for the next week.:yay:
Great idea Flaky!

I know there is a 1.00 off CVS paper product printing on the scanner, tp is 2/1.00 single rolls . You can get 2 free rolls of tp!!!

This is why I should read the thread BEFORE going to the store.:rolleyes1 I got the coupon and didn't do anything with it.

Didn't buy any Easter stuff because it was still only 50% off

I had my eye on the Easter stuff :3dglasses but not for only 50% off. Like I need more Jelly beans to put in my pockets while I walk around the house. :sad2:

Now for my adventures!

I went to the CVS and did the dial (no coupon) and the Dove (again, no coupon) :scared:

Paid with ECBs and just about $2.00 OOP.

Bought the.......
:beach:
Jergens Natural Glow!!!!!! (I of course had 2 $1.00 off coupons):teacher:

used my ECBs to pay plus about $6 OOP and walked out with 5 ECBs. Not bad for just getting back in. Plus I was so excited that there was finally a Jergens deal I didn't care that I spent real money.:woohoo::cheer2:

I also decided there are far too few pictures on this thread so I decided to take a pic of my stuff. Nerdy? You bet!:hyper:

If you haven't gone yet, I wouldn't worry too much. You can take them to any CVS and they will exchange, so you don't need to wait for more stock in the place you bought them. Although it depends on where you go, most will just exchange it with or without the receipt. And they've never messed with the ECBs either. Having said that, a manger *might* so aim for one who isn't :) Or someone you know who isn't a pain :)

Not nerdy at all:lmao: I post pictures every week of my Rite Aid/CVS hauls on my facebook page. Lots of my family are very visual. I'll have to try to post some here too...

We'll just miss you at BLT by a week looks like. We check out on 4/24.

Ok, hopefully this works. This was my haul yesterday. I alos got 4 cases of soda. Total OOP for the day was a hair over $1

Today I stopped at Target and did the Gilette. razor deal. I bought two, used the $4 coupons and got back $5 giftcard. Then I bought 5 boxes of the special K granola cereal. Paid with the $5 giftcard and 3 $1 coupons and a $2/2 coupon. My husband works PT at Target so I also saved 10% off of the after coupon cost. Got back another $5 giftcard. Thought those were pretty good deals!

I scanned my card but didn't get the $1 CVS paper goods coupon so I passed on the TP. I got the Dove Shampoo and I picked up a matching conditioner. I had a $2.50 off two Dove coupon so with the ECB back for the shampoo I paid very little for the conditioner. My daughter loves the Dove products and I am actually low on conditioner. Lots of shampoo but not too many conditioners.

Did the Dial body wash with the $1 coupon link from here. Also did the Nivea/Eucerin deal. Bought three body washes ($4.99 each, $2 coupon on each) and filled in with a .99 cent Eucerin trial size to get to the $15. Got 5 ECB so not a bad deal.

Has anyone tried Nivea's version of Natural Glow? I've got good coupons, so I think it would be less than the Jergens. I really want to get started with one of them -- want to fix my ghost-white legs without getting skin cancer.

I didn't get the TP coupon on my first scanning (got others) so I scanned my card again and it worked. The 2nd time it gave me the $1 off CVS skincare and $1 off CVS paper product. I think I read this tip on iheartcvs this weekend.:confused3 My older kids are collecting wellness items for school so I was determined to get this coupon so I could add the TP to their donations.;)

ooooh. that's too bad we'll just miss you! We arrive at POR on the 29th for one night just girls and then move to WL when the DHs come for two nights and then all of us move to BLT until May 7th. For smiller's birthday we're doing the HDDMR. I've been, but going with a 3 mo old will be interesting!!

Doing a split stay with a 3 mo old will be interesting too...;)

I've only used the Jergens and I LOVE IT.

FYI, I found the fair skin to be too fair, and the medium worked nicely. I'm really quite pale too, and I didn't really notice a difference with the fair at all. Plus, it doesn't smell that bad.:rolleyes1

That's always a good thing, don't you think?:rotfl:

Nothing too much thrilling today but I wanted to roll a few ECB's.

Dove shampoo (I used all my coupons at Wags two weeks ago but I was lucky to find a peelie on one of the bottles of Dove at CVS today for $1.50)
4.49-1.50 and earned $4.49 ECB's

Dial Body Wash $5.49 - $1.00 IP in first post and earned $5.49 ECB's

Used scanner Q for $1 off any CVS skin care item on a 25 ct. canister of Moist Wipes = free (fit in the cupholder of your vehicle :cool1:)

Used scanner Q for $1 off CVS paper product for 1 roll of paper towels = .29

LanaJae....Didn't buy any Easter stuff because it was still only 50% off and won't go to 75% off until next Sunday according to the cashier (Cathy). She said CVS changed their policy about reducing holiday clearance stuff. Did you hear anything about that?

Must be regional, b/c mine went to 75% off last Thursday...

I love Nivea's self tanner, doesn't smell bad and you can even get one that makes the hair on your legs slower to grow (a definate plus!)

Thanks flaky!

I was told yesterday that CVS Corporate said no more 90% off ever and has changed their schedule for seasonal clearance and that only select items will ever reach 75% off. I hope that's not true.

I hope it is not true too Lana !! The Easter stuff was still 50% , but they did have some 75% off other stuff and I got me 4 kitchen towela for 25c each!!!!

The Easter stuff was 75% off at my CVS yesterday, but it the good stuff was gone -- mostly cheap chocolate and stuffed bunnies left.

If it's true, I can't see it lasting long. At my store they sometimes can't even get rid of it at 90% off. I remember at christmas they were giving stuff away with every purchase in mid January :rotfl: Every person that bought something got to pick one christmas item free.

If they decide to save it for next year, they will have to pay storage fees or have the stuff in the way.
