Cvs weekly 2/7-2/13

Oh you are all so very funny:rotfl:

Just for that, I won't tell you what really is good and isn't all sticky!

Some of us need more help than where to find good coupons... you know how foolish I'll look if I keep going into the store (in the big town with 6K people) and buying new brands? Though I did think the "travel sized sample pack" was a little strange...

tiredly,

NHWX

Thanks for posting Flaky! I think I have a bunch of the $1 off Ritz/Wheat Thins crackers floating around. I might go for that.

My CVS got a new manager and they stopped activating the Sunday sales on Saturday night!

Tonight was the first time in a LONG time that I was ready on Saturday night for the deals. I even bought an early edition Sunday paper!

Oh well, I will head out early tomorrow.

Maggie

Since I have some time, I will post out a few scenarios.

*If you didn't get the Dove Men's Body wash at CVS last week, Walgreens is having the same Free after RR deal this week.**

Nivea Spend $10 Get $5ECB
4 Nivea Lip $2.99 * 4 = $11.96
-2 Nivea BOGOF coupons 2/7 insert - $2.99 x 2 = $5.98
$11.96 - $5.98 = $5.98
Get back $5 ECB

Listerine $3.99
-$1 IP on 500 mL or larger
$2.99
Get back $2 ECB

Gillette fusion razor $8.99
-$4 Coupons from 2/7 insert
$4.99
Get back $4 ECB

Trident Layers .99
-.75 coupon from 2/7 insert
=.24

I checked out the Garnier prices for the Garnier cleanser/moisturizer deal. The cleanser was $5.99 but the cheapest moisturizer I could find was $12.99. So I am going to skip that deal. It would be $19 - $5 ECB plus any coupons ($2 off moisturizer and $1 off cleanser) so $11 for both.

Other deals I am doing, but not not free.

Charmin $9.99
2 x Tide $5.99 = $11.98
4 x Dawn .99 = $3.96
Total = $25.93
-.25 charmin from 1-17 p&G
- 2 x $1 Tide = $2 (from a battery pack peelie, I think)
-.50 Dawn from 1-17 p&G (I only have 1)
= $23.18
Get free pack of batteries
-$1 coupon for batteries (from 1-17 P&G)
=$22.18
Not a great deal, but we need all of those things. It is also provided that an HE Tide detergent is included.

My store had a venus razor on clearance for $6. They had it at the front of the store on the endcap with the other Venus razors. I'm not sure if it counts for the deal since my store hadn't activated the sales yet. But keep an eye out for it!!

Good point!

Some of us would like to know! And we won't make fun! PROMISE!!!!:lovestruc

Ya Lana...details...we wont laugh:rolleyes::rolleyes1:rotfl:

I gotta know! :yay: Tell me before I waste my money at Walgreen's. :worship: I won't make fun, pinky swear.

Where is Lana when we need her???? Hmmmmm all this talk about his and mine...I just wonder where she is:rolleyes1

Product testing.......;)

about the KY product. :) Im always up for a product review!

I see I took a powder again, sorry!

Okay, bad news is that you can't buy it at a drugstore, good news is that you will never try anything else again lol

EMU OIL

You want food grade, with nothing added. There are a ton of places to order online from, many farms in Wisconsin. Emu oil is bacteriostatic so it's super safe too.

My plan:

$10.00 Five Nabisco crackers
7.98 Two Reach Total Care floss
-3.00 Three mfgs. for Nabisco crackers from 1-24-10 Smart Source
-2.00/2 IP mfg. for Nabisco from here (IE): http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?bt=vg&tqnm=zadmepd36007575&o=60755&c=NA&p=jiCq1gUJ or here (FF): http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?bt=vg&tqnm=zadmepd36007575&o=60755&c=NA&p=jiCq1gUJ
-3.99 BOGO mfg. for Reach from 1-3-10 Red Plum
$8.99 (earn $3 + $4 extra bucks)

I'll add Dawn to that deal to get up to $20 and use a $5/20 too, but I didn't want to include that since many of you can't use that expired coupon.

I'll also do the razor deal if I can find enough other things to get to $20.

Thanks for posting your scenarios for the week. I love to get ideas like these to make plans. Oops, forgot to include LanaJae's plan too. Thanks to all! :thumbsup2

I just read the Rite Aid ad for this week and the men's Dove is free after the rebate this week so if anyone still has extra coupons and your Rite Aid has it in stock.

I went and did the free battery deal this morning. The bonus pack (8+2) did NOT come off free at the end. They just "returned" the batteries for me and gave me the cash (plus I got to keep the batteries). There was also a free screwdriver pack, but I don't know if that one worked or not.

My store didn't have any Valentine Borders for the free Valentine card. They called the Kodak hotline and they told them it would take a week for them to download that design. Haha. I bet they are going to have some angry people. I just did a mother's day card that looked Valentine-y and wrote Happy Valentine's Day as the text.

  Sorry Lana but if you werent so busy trying new products:woohoo: then were wont be wondering how all of us would celerbrate Valentines Day:cloud9: AAHhhhh your a good sport...thats why we love ya so much.

hehe well since Walgreens was all we had until 2 weeks ago, I'm an old hat at it. The bad thing is that you have to buy everything for the rr in one trip (so if they are out of stock your SOL)

But I did manage to hit both CVS and Walgreens this morning, they had everything except my ice cream (only vanilla was on sale and they were out) and I took the last Ritz (so I had to get triscuits and wheat thins too)

My receipt total was at CVS was $25.48 after tax, I saved $98.51, I got $17 in ebs. My receipt was 3 feet long :thumbsup2 Would have had $18 in eb's but I forget my reusable bag with my tag :sad2: Total was $8.48

Walgreens my total was $38.55, savings $36.88 (not counting the $8.99 in MIR), and I got $22 in rr. The regular dove body wash coupons from the same inset as the men's body wash did work on the mens wash at Walgreens and the RR's are for $6, not $5.99. So total "cost" = $5.89

I forget that darn thing all the time! It is always in the trunk of my car and i NEVER bring it in the store!

That's good to know. I used my one coupon from the insert and my one printable at Walgreens today. I never did get any at CVS since they were out early. I rolled the body wash and the John Frieda deals 2 times. I think I will go back later and get the razors.
