Cvs weekly 12/26-1/2 weekly

So.. my dog sat on my purse after he came in from playing in the snow.

Everything got soaked, including my coupons! The last $5/$20 CVS purchase coupon I had was in there.

The corner that got wet was the one that had the $5 (the ink ran so all you can see is "*smudge* off of a $20 purchase" but the barcode and the numbers below are still good.

Anyone have any idea if they'll still take it?? I really hope so. :(

Bring your dog in so you can blame it on him! Haha.

If you think it should still scan, try to use it. The computer should know the correct amount. The only problem would be if it didn't scan and the cashier had to force it through.

I did the Bayer meter at one CVS today without a problem. I tried to do it at another CVS on DH's card and they told me they no longer accept that coupon?!? I asked him if he could just adjust it down to 14.99 and he said no they no longer accept it at all. Anyone else have this happen?
Yes, it also happened to me. I don't have my coupons with me, as i forgot them at my inlaws grrr but i tried to use it at two CVSs and neither would take it. One said i had to buy 2 for $30 and the other said it wasn't good on the sale with ECB. :confused3

Hi:wave:

I saw on another website a good deal: the Biore Skin Preservation wash is ringing up as $4 and in the 10/11 SS there is a $3 coupon. It's a monthlong deal, so it gives back 3 ecb...$2 MM. Went this morning, rang up at $4, limit 1. Also, in this week's P&G there was a $1 coupon for Ivory soap packs which are on sale for $0.99 this week - FREE!
HTH!

:yay: Thanks so much for posting. I was able to get the Biore deal :thumbsup2
Unfortunately they were out of Ivory soap, so I had to settle for a rain check.

I can't believe this, but I have lost my CVS card. I know I can get another one, but I have ECBs and will be getting quarterly ones. Does anyone know whether there is any way to keep this number? I feel naked without my card.:rotfl:

Contour coupon ... DENIED!

I didn't have time to argue since we were late to a New Year's Eve party and I had to do my CVSing since some coupons expired 12/31.

I think they can transfer the credits if you tell them you lost it and need a new one. I believe they transferred mine using my phone number. But, this was a couple of years ago and things change.

Interesting. Next week there is an Accu Check deal. I'm guessing those q's will be denied too.

I don't have that coupon in front of me, but I read on another board that it is for a different monitor and wouldn't work??

Oh, that might be. I didn't look that closely at it yet. Thanks!

Check your email. I just got a $5/$25 expiringh Monday along with an invitation to print my quarterly extra bucks! Of course, my card is still lost. I'm hoping the store will be able to solve the problem with it -- if not, it looks like I can get another through the 800 number.

My husband and I both have an extra care card. Today, when making our puchases we were asked if we had separte cards. We said yes. We were than asked if we lived together and told we could only buy 3 Soyjoys because they had a 3 per household limit. I guess I was breaking the rules with us having two cards. Is this a usual practice or do most people only use one card?

My husband and I both have our own cards which a manager at one of our stores said is legitimate. Maybe not all managers or cashiers would agree with that point of view. Basically, I think the rub comes in when you have an overzealous cashier or manager who is strictly enforcing the fine print that says a particular deal is "x per household." I would just not go in together any more if you want to do the deal on each card. Either use each one at different times or at different stores.
