Okay so let me try this one more time. I look at the circular...see what is on sale. IF I actually use the product and go and buy it....some of these items will also give you another ECB's?? I bought Bounty paper towel on sale this week there....so I could also use a mfg. coupon to do with that too right. I just want to get all of this straight before I attempt any of these money savings missions. LOL.

Yup, that is the name of the game. I never spend more than $1 OOP and always try to earn back at least as many ECB as I spend. Not every deal is a good deal....especially if you don't need the product. The key is to break down your transactions to just get over the dollar amount to use a $X/$XX coupon.

sorry I am so out of the loop, I am loving that new coupon even though I haven't been to the store yet, so glad Er1ca at iheartcvs.com posted it as I tried the refreshing thing and never got it to come up.

I can not get this coupon to come up no matter what I do. I also went to I heart CVS and tried from there. I get the peel here but I never get the squares to click on. I have old dial-up and that must be the problem. Does anyone have this coupon saved any other way and can send it to me?

The coupon printed for me with this link but without a barcode, so maybe it has expired now? Just wanted to toss that out there since it takes a lot of ink!

I got a twitter from iheartcvs.com earlier that CVS did something to make that coupon invalid now

I should have sat here and printed all afternoon. It only worked in firefox and could only get new barcodes on each if you did the "start private browsing session" in firefox.

My Q also printed with no barcode...and after all that ink!!!

Bummer. I printed 3 last night that have unique barcodes on them... they're all different and I didn't do anything different with Firefox. Just re-clicked the link to print again. Maybe because I have Windows 7 now I didn't have to reset cookies or anything to get new barcodes? It's interacting funny with several programs and coupon printers saying they aren't compatible with 7 yet!

Okay, I think I definitely just had my best trip to CVS so far.

I got:
1 DayQuil Mucus Liquid $5
3 Tylenol Cold Liquids $6 (x3)
= $23 + $1.08 tax = $24.08

Coupons used:
$5/$20 purchase
2 $1/ any Tylenol Purchase
$2/ Tylenol Cold and Flu
$1.50/ DayQuil/NyQuil Product
$1 ECB
$10 ECB

= $2.58 OOP and $10 ECB back.

I just cleaned up when I picked up prescriptions - lightbulbs for 90% off. I got $10 worth so I could use the $2/10 CVS Brand with the $5/20 doing half of the cold medicine deal.

They had all the unique bulbs I have to pay a lot for, like those round fancy ones that go above the bathroom cabinets. Supposedly all the CVS Brand bulbs are on the list for 90% off, they must not be making them anymore.

My CVS lady is so nice she took my coupon WITHOUT the barcode! I took it in and told her I had no idea why it did not have one (which is true because I only just now read the postings where u guys r discussing th emissing barcode) and she shrugged her shoulders and manually took off the $5!! She's super nice. I have a 2nd coupond with no bar code but now that I know they are invalid I will not cheat the system.

That's really great! Hey, if they'll take it, use it - not your fault that other people sat and printed one right after another yesterday. That was the shortest-lived CVS coupon I've ever seen lol

They did put it through for me, but had to use a manager's approval. Whew!
