Cvs weekly 1/10-1/16

any scenerios for this week? I just started back last week after not cvsing in many months, I actually am low on toothpaste! whats the limit with the soyjoy packs?

Am I the only one that doesn't think they are worth it unless you need a filler? There are no coupons out right now so you are paying $6 just to get $6 back on something I don't think anyone will eat. (at least not in my house) I suppose if you have a ton of bucks expiring or some good coupons it helps you roll but I'm not bothering with them.

They are an acquired taste I got so many last year that I learned to like them. DS3 eats them all the time, he thinks they are a treat. I like them because they are small and fit in my purse easily. Plus they don't get all crumbly and broken up like other snack items. Great to have in the purse to give him at the grocery store and other places when I need to keep him quiet. Plus they are somewhat healthy.

I totally agree. Last year I thought they were super disgusting, but now I've gotten used to them. They sort of taste like nutri-grain bars to me. I've heard they taste better warmed up for 20 seconds.

The benefit really comes when you use one of the $5 off $20 coupons with the SoyJoy. You can buy 3 of the soyjoys plus something you need or what to get you over $20. You then will get the $18 back for the soyjoys in ECB to spend again, thus getting your other product for free.

Totally made up example:

3 Soyjoy $18
1 pound of coffee $5
Total $23
-$5 coupon
= $18. Use ECB and get back $18 in ECB. Thus you got your $5 coffee free.

I got one today. It was giving my opinion about the phrasing that a hypothetical pharmacist might use when suggesting a way to save money using a different drug for the prescription the dr. ordered for a patient. If you qualify to take the survey, CVS gives you $5 ECB's and if you don't qualify, you get $2 ECB's.

I hope I have 6 of these coupons. I haven't bought my soyjoy limit, so will probably do a couple of transactions to get more toilet paper.

In the paper a couple of weeks ago there were coupons for $2 off 10 bars. When I bought two 6 pack boxes I was able to use this coupon so I actually MM on the deal.

Has anyone been in CVS yet this week? I really didn't see anything exciting to get me there yesterday I need to finish up the Soy Joy but nothing else really jumped out at me except maybe the Pantene.

Rite Aid was pretty slow this week too. I only did the Contac ($2 MM) and the lightbulbs. I also bought Draino since we needed it. You do get an extra Game of Life piece for the lightbulbs though, so that made it worth the trip. Didn't really see anything else.

I did actually get out and have me time yesterday morning and saw the movie It's Complicated. I thought it was pretty funny. DH's cousin is in the movie, so it was neat seeing him up on the big screen

I want to see that movie too! Not that I'm going anywhere so I guess I'll have to Netflix it later.

I want to do the Pantene tomorrow with smiller. I'm in trouble since I did no coupon clipping this weekend. whoops!

I hate Soy Joys. But they're free? How did I miss that? I HAVE to use $14 in bucks by tomorrow so I guess I'll buy them. Is it a monthly? I didn't see them in the ad....are there still monthly deals?

The coupon for the bars is not supposed to be used on the boxes, I'm not scolding anyone, just that I know I can't do it at my store so it's not worth it for me.

I may jump on them if I have bucks to burn if these stores don't pick up a bit more!

The soy joys are a monthly bonus box. They are a box for $6 and get $6 back, limit is 6 hmillerbarilla. IIRC the end is sometime in Feb.

I've been an advisory panel member for over a year and only ever got one survey. I never get any more.

Well I think it's a store decision to accept them in the first place. I know none of my stores accept them.

Nope sorry, nor the exact week.

My DM gets several papers and just brings me the coupons in bulk every couple of weeks. I had two of the $2 off 10 so it was in multiple papers. I only got one coupon for $1 off the power bars and one for the BOGO on the Oust -what a bummer that was.

So does anyone know how it works when you transfer a prescription with a coupon for a gift card?
Does the new pharmacy have to call the old pharmacy for any kind of verification? Even if the RX bottle is current (not expired) with lots of refills left?
