CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 4/29-5/5

I didn't get my $5 ECB for this offer today either. I bought a Maybelline cosmetic- $8.99 and Garnier Hair product-$6.29. Total before Garnier $1.00 off coupon=15.28.

On the bottom of my receipt it says "Maybelline, spend 15 get 5 EB." Doesn't say anything about Garnier. I wonder if the ad was supposed to be $15 on Maybelline OR Garnier, like one or the other? (Did someone already mention this??)

I have to say though, the CVS I went to ran out of the totes over the weekend, and they were giving out these HUGE canvas totes instead ($14.99 value). The clerk said they were WAY nicer than the free pink ones, and I even got to pick out the style!

So does anyone have the number for CVS corporate?

Corporate number is on the back of your Extra Care Card.
For issues regarding CVS/pharmacy stores, ExtraCare® or other store programs, call (800) SHOP-CVS (746-7287), Monday through Friday, 8:30am-10:00 pm ET.

It seems that the Maybelline/Garnier deal is tallying up separately. 1 Total for Maybelline & 1 total for Garnier so you can actually get up to $10 ECB's back ($5 from each). I purchased all Maybelline makeup so I didn't have a problem but that is what is being reported by many people. Here's what I have researched so far:

Garnier products under the Garnier Deal
Nutritioniste Gel cleanser
Face Towelettes

Garnier products under the Maybelline Deal
Garnier Nutritioniste Scrub
Fructis 2 in 1 Shampoo/Conditioner
sleek and shine
Garnier 100% Hair Color
Garnier Mousse
Garnier Sleek and shine conditioner

The towelletes count under the maybelline deal. I bought my items one at a time so I know where they were applied by looking at what it said at the bottom of my receipt each time.

I went tonight to see if I could finish out one of the Garnier deals. I bought a Nutrisse Hair color. This was applied to the Maybelline deal and finished that out for me. My $5 ECB printed. Also, it didn't say that limit was reached??

So for the Maybelline deal, I purchased:
1 Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color $5.99
1 Garnier Nutrioniste Face Towellettes $5.99
1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo-Conditioner 2n1 $3.49
My $5 ECB printed for this complete offer finally.

The Garnier face scrub (6.7 oz) that I bought has started me on the Garnier monthly deal at $5.99

You know, I read on the families.com board that some people's towellettes are ringing up for the garnier deal?? Mine definitely rang up for the maybelline deal.

Would the april softsoap deal work thru the end of this week or are those cut off at the exact end of month??? Just wondering cuz yesterday i did two more deals and they worked but a coworker is going to bring me another coupon so i was thinking of going again, maybe i should just use it on the 2.99 sale instead???

Ijust got back from CVS and on the bottom of my receipt it still had the totals for the Crest and Oral B promotions. Maybe they go through the end of the week? :confused3

I just read on families.com that someone bought some of the APRIL monthly deals today and it still worked. So it looks like these are valid through this week.

I just got back from CVS too and the deals were still on it. I would think they run monthly with the weeks. Just a thought, no evidence behind it, just like Walgreens monthly rebates, they don't end on the last day of the month, but the last day of the ad after the month is up.

Anyways, had a good trip thanks to all the helps and hints.

I got

2 all
2 snuggle
intuition razor
garnier hair color
3 garnier shampoos
aleve (for a rebate)
3 oreos
hershey cacao chocolate (free coupon also)
gum toothbrush twin pack

and spent $9.90 , $4 I'll get back in a rebate and then got $15 ECB also. I did use $32 in ECB to get the total down and also another $14.50 in mfr coupons and $4 CVS coupon.

And don't forget my free tote bag!

Okay, I know this is a stupid question, but I have no idea how this works. My husband takes thyroid medicine every month and I would like to transfer his prescription to get the gift card. So how does that work. He usually gets 2 refills per perscription, does he go into CVS with his bottle and tell them where his current prescription is or does he call his office and have them call CVS.

Sorry, I am clueless as I have never even had a presciption and don't know how all this works. I'll probably be the one doing it too. Will they let me get his presciption?

Thanks!

All you or your husband has to do is to take his current prescription bottle into CVS and ask to have it transferred. You do need to have a coupon to get the gift card. While I haven't seen any for CVS, I do have one for Walgreen's and CVS will accept it, as they accept competitor's coupons. I happen to have an extra Walgreen's one that expires the end of June. I would be more than happy to send it to you, if you PM me your mailing address.

I also called the CS yesterday about the GUM toothbrush that didnt spit out the .99 and they are giving me a $1 ecb to print out the next time I go. i did this for both my card and my b/f's card.

Thanks for the info and the offer. I actually have one for CVS that I printed out so won't need the Walgreens. Maybe you can pass it on to someone that can use it. Thanks though! You guys are all the best!:grouphug:

Can we post the printed one again? I think it expires the end of May.

Here is the link for the prescription gift card - print it out - bring it to your local CVS and get a $25 gift card with each NEW or TRANSFERRED RX. Limit 5 before May 31st. Also only limit 1 per transaction so if you have multiple RX's do them separately to get the 5

This morning I tried the Dove Cream Oil body wash from last weeks (maybe the week before) CVS deals. I think it smells like children's liquid antibiotic medicine. You know, that thick pink junk that makes you gag!! The body wash even kind of looks like it.

I'm not sure if I will be able to continue to use it. I will give it a week or so and see if the smell grows on me. I know that when I first used the Softsoap Cashmere body wash, I thought it smelled like Play-doh. But the smell lessened with time. So maybe there is still hope for the Dove.

I know CVS used to refund your purchase price for cosmetics that you didn't like. You know, that shade of plum lipstick that just looked dandy in the tube, but not so dandy on your lips.
Not sure if they still do this, or if it extends to body washes. Might be worth checking out.
I did try my Softsoap Pure Cashmere, Softening formula. I thought it smelled kind of coconutty.

I think the one that smelled like Play-Doh to me was the pink one. I'm not sure what version that is called. I'm at work now, but when I get home I can look. I mean, I have 5 more bottles at home. ;)

As I said, the Play-doh smell either wore off on me over time or I got used to it. The first week I felt like I was rolling around in Play-Doh.
