All information is compiled from various sources - other forums, friends, family, personal experience, and the actual ads themselves. My location is in central MA as well as others are country wide, so keep this in mind when reading posts and be sure to confirm your local ad as well before actual shopping. Happy ECB'ing!

Thanks!!

I ordered Revlon beauty tools coupons last night, $1 off each one. I figured I could get $2 items and not be out of pocket for any of my ECBs. I am going to save them for stocking stuffers for all the women in my family.

great idea!! how much are the beauty tools?

The scan said they start at 49 cents so I have some overage possibilities. the coupons were $3.50 for 40 of them, I got enough for my mom too.

I was thinking about doing themes, nails (clippers, files, nail polish), eyes (tweezers, curler, eye shadow) and face (brushes and applicators). It will give me the opp to give away some of my eyeshadow too.

I cut coupons for 3 hours last night, talk about a fun Friday evening.. someone had posted on another thread that they sort theirs alphabetically so I'm going to try that, I had been saving the flyers, but paging through the same ones over and over was getting old. Now I just have to figure out how to sort them out, am thinking a big recipe box.

I have two sets of Revlon coupons now. Doing all tools sounds really smart!

Thanks Sally!

I sort mine 100% alphabetically and I LOVE it because I can put my finger on a coupon in seconds...especially when I see unexpected clearance!

I use a Sterilite brand box (#1773 on http://www.sterilite.com/Category.html?Section=Storage&ProductCategory=43#). I'm thinking about moving to #1774 because I currently have 2 separate boxes, 1 for food, 1 for everything else.

I always take my duplicate inserts, separate all the pages, line up the duplicate pages, then cut 4-5 pages at a time. It really helps with the boredom of cutting the same insert over and over.

ETA: They sell box #1773 at CVS for 99 cents, I think. You can work a deal to get it for free - love the irony! :)

I read this and left immediately and bought one, have never noticed them before - it's perfect! Thank you :)

Do you have any separators in the box? I am trying to think of a way to do that so they don't slip down, I don't have enough to fill it, but I think I'm more than halfway there.

Thanks too for the idea on cutting, I will do that. I only get 1 paper and my mom gives me her coupon flyers and sometimes they are different (mixed up on different pages). My plan is to stay on top of these coupons now and hopefully buy 2 more papers on good coupon days.

Also looked in the Sunday paper pile (Sat. edition) and in the first 3 there was one coupon flyer in one of them, so either it's intermittent or people steal them. I can't remember where to go to see what inserts are supposed to be in tomorrow's paper, I guess one sounds right for a holiday weekend.

Scrubbing Bubbles - I did a demo at Kmart today and gave away great coupon books for Scrubbing Bubbles products (and gave away flushable wipes). Everyone doing the demos is supposed to leave the leftover coupon books on the service counter, so grab some when you're in Kmart next week.

Hmm, I checked out the beauty tools tonight for Revlon and they are no where close to $.49, more like $2-8. Any ideas on what the 49 cent item could be? I'll need some of those to even out the more expensive items. I should of done research before buying coupons, I'm an addict :rotfl:

Glad I could help! I do have separators. I went to Walmart and got the hard plastic alphabetic index card size dividers (they come in rainbow colors. :) ). I didn't like any of the ones CVS carries, so I got them at Walmart for like $1.50, IIRC. I also keep my ECBs and CRTs in it. In the front, I have 3 sections (just used regular index cards) and in each one is a different set of ECBs/CRTs, since I have 3 cards. I also usually pull all my coupons that I want to use that week and put them in the very front of the container, so I have them at hand. I did use something when I first set it up because it wasn't full. I think I put maybe a couple decks of playing cards in there? I can't remember. I know I did put something in there to keep them from all sliding down. Now my non-food one is so full that I feel like it's going to pop like those can of snakes when you take the lid off! :lmao:

Yeah, that's how my 2 newspapers are that I get. The coupons for FNP are less than Wash Post and all mixed up on different pages, but within the correct section (ie, Redplum, P&G, Smartsource, etc.).

My guess is that possibly some stores have the very basic tweezers that Target has for 99 cents and those will probably be the 49 cent item. Of course, I'm sure none of my stores will carry that one!

Sounds like I have to go to Walmart tomorrow lol - thanks!

I got a CRT for a free CVS multivitamin (60 ct I think). Does anyone know for sure if I can use that for the bogo deal and end up with 2 free 60 cts?

I think yes for sure, it'll just scan needing the amount of the vitamins and the cashier will enter the cost of one.

I did a CRT B1G1 for Ice Breakers gum today and also used a B1G1 mfg. coupon.

Maybe its me but there doesnt seem to be that many deals for ECB:confused3

I would have to agree although the Revlon deal could be a very good moneymaker with q's. Luckily I have a bunch of those q's from an order of inserts I got a few weeks ago.

I think the following looks much better!
