CVS ECB Deals ~ Sales for Week 2/15-2/21

Thank you, LanaJae, for the heads up on the Skin Effects hand creams. I didn't do quite as well as you because I couldn't locate the CVS RB magazine, but I was able to use the $5 off coupon so I owed $3 for the two hand creams and used ECB's so no OOP on that deal. I love that hand cream!! I went out again today and found a couple bars of Neutrogena soap left on the shelf which really surprised me. Where in the stores do you usually find the magazine?

On another note.... Be sure to check your CRT if you bought the offer limit on the Hallmark cards both times they were offered. My total for the cards was a little under the amount required for a free song card, but they gave me one anyway on my CRT. I think I'll get one for my DS or DH's birthday with it. I bought all .99 cards so really stocked up and got them for free and now another freebie song card. Gotta love CVS!

That's great, I really like the hand cream too, wish it was a bigger bottle. I found one magazine at Mahtomedi (by checkout), everyone else has the old issues. If I see anymore, I'll remember where they were at. The coupons aren't as good in this newest issue, I've only used the skin care one and the Skin Effects.

Where did you look for Neutrogena? I was thinking about going to look for it later today.

I have $4-something to go for the free song card, hope to finish it up with something on clearance.

Just did the Colgate roll into Neutrogena on Card #2. Also got a coupon for a free CVS 250 mL antiseptic mouthwash from the price scanner.

Forgot to mention I got a free 20ct lens cleaner wipes CRT on Card #1 this morning.

My boss asked me to email her about the CVS deals. She wants me to keep her updated - I'm happy to share the info!

I did the Neutrogena deal today at my lunch break. I also got a second pack of the energy shots and 2 Colgates and used the $1.50 off coupon. I also bought a $4.99 of eyebrow makeup and I still came out with a $2 profit.

The neutrogena bars are in with the face care products (Olay, L'Oreal, etc). They were on the bottom or second to bottom shelf in both my stores.

They are CVS brand 25 ct. rounds that sell for .99. I found them in the travel section in several stores. I have also seen them hanging with the nail polish removers. Others have reported them hanging on pegs at random locations throughout the store. Buy 2 get a $2 ECB.

total: 3.75 OOP got $2 ecb (Herbal essences) and $4 ecb (razor)

I'm thrilled! The shampoo is great and I just love collecting piles of razors. I mean, who doesn't? and the toothpaste... can you ever have enough? J/K where is that list of things to use toothpaste for?

oh, and glad you all like the photo! CVSing is so fun!

Maggie: I'm totally up for a bean photo. We can go to the CVS just north of the park--they usually have everything since there aren't too many crazies in the loop, besides smiller that is.

I returned the Suave I had and rebought it using come coupons I found and got the Nutrogena. I got the last two bars left!!! The ECBS still aren't printing here for the Suave, they had to print them manually.

Don't look for Neutrogena at either Maplewood or Mahtomedi until stock is replenished. (Maybe they will get more in on Thursday?) They are totally out at Mahtomedi and there was only one bar left on the shelf in Maplewood. Look under the brand name products along the wall. In both stores it was ( or was supposed to be) on the very bottom shelf under the Neutrogena sign.

No, I forgot to check at Woodbury when I went there for the hand cream. I got the last two in Mahtomedi after checking for it in Maplewood. I have a feeling the word has gotten out about this great deal.

"why is it 31 cents?" "what did I do wrong??"

so I pay it, and then in the car I remember.....

I FORGOT TO USE MY CHARMIN COUPON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought about it the whole way home. The stupid .25 charmin coupon. ERRRR!

Regular Coke works, I bought 7 12-packs and got the $10 ECB.

My store was cleaned out of Neutrogena too. I thought I had it, but it was acne bars so I put them back when I saw the empty shelf where the 2.99 bars should be.

They had a ton of colgate though and a bunch of the cotton rounds. So I now have four packs of cotton rounds and nothing to use them for

I'm a little upset though. Before I went to the register I tallied everything up on the calculator on my phone and it was 30.32. Awesome. Perfect for my 5/30. So the cashier rings me up and I hand her my stack of coupons and ECBs. They were all mixed together and my 5/30 was a CRT so it didn't stand out and I forgot to separate it.
She starts scanning them and after two she says "Your total needed to be $30 before tax. It was $32.xx after tax." I'm like umm yeah it was 30.32 before tax. I added it all up. She says it wasn't and she can void the order and show me (she had already scanned my ECBs, no way am I going through that) So I'm thinking I'll grab another cotton round or something. She tells me I need $2 more! No way! Then she goes ahead and just scans the coupon anyway.
Grrrr I totaled it up again and it was definitely 30.32
I really hate the people who work at that store, I'm sticking to my 24hr store from now on.

On the bright side I got a bunch of stuff I needed and a Bridal magazine I was going to buy at Target and only spent $7 and got back $9 in ECBs

Here's the deals I got today

Today I spent at total of $14.32 OOP plus I still have $11 ECB to use later

1st CVS I got
2- Colgate Total
After coupons and ECB I had they cost me $1.42

2nd CVS
Fusion Gamer Razor
2- Neutrogena Soaps
Twin pack crest
After coupons and ECB I spent $9.92, earned $16 ECB

3rd CVS
6- Suave Body washes (bonus size)
3- Suave shampoos
3- Suave conditioners
Colgate Total w/free toothbrush (different size than before)
After coupons and ECB I spent $2.98 and earned $11 ECB

I'm sure I could have reworked it to have spent less but my kids were getting tired of CVS and thought I was crazy for going back so much.


Oh and be aware that if you get the bonus ones, such as I did with the Suave body wash and Colgate toothpaste the ECB wont print and the cashier will have to manually do it. So be aware

Since the last 2 Suave ECB were manually entered does that mean I can go back and get more?

I can completely relate! I'm still thinking about the $1 egg coupon I didn't use last week. (At Whole Foods, not CVS.)
