Cvs 9/19-9/25 weekly deals

Yesterday I purchased 3 Revlon products and had a $15 EBC. Today I went to the CVS close to my work and purchased a 4th Revlon product and other items totally up to $15. When the clerk scanned my $15 ECB it beeped or did something and I said "Did I not make it to $15 before tax?" She said "No, it is saying that this ECB is not for this card but I know it is." She knows me thankfully but she had to call a manager to complete the transaction.

Now I wonder if I will have trouble with my current $5 Revlon ECB. I see that the Revlon deal is not showing up as to how many purchased/how many left to purchase. What is that all about? What is the limit?

Anybody have a similar problem?

I didn't. I used mine immediately after I received it and it didn't beep.

Maggie

For anyone who gets Redbook there is a CVS store coupon good for $2 off on Curel, John Frieda or Biore. There aren't any deals on this right now, but the coupon is good until 12/31. There is also a $2 off Tide coupon in there.

Now, if only I can find the time to go to CVS. So far I haven't been able to get there for 2 weeks :scared1:. I'm hoping maybe by Saturday I really need some Nivea and I want that Revlon deal. :laundy:

i also noticed that the revelon deal is not showing up at the bottom of the receipt...strange..

Wish me luck. I am finally off to CVS for the week. When I picked up a prescription yesterday I got a 3/15 and DH got a $3 coupon for his birthday.

MAGGIEW is the winner of the MAGIC ENVIE this week.:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Thank you I just picked it up at the store,,,

Ok, I need to share my feelings..........WHAT THE HECK IS UP? I mean
it is more than 1/2 way in the week and only a few posts:confused3 I know the sales suck lately:confused3 but the thread is slowly dying. Anyone have any suggestions on making it a little more fun here? Like giving away Lana's ECB:rotfl2:

I'm lurking, I just haven't been into a CVS in a couple weeks. :goodvibes I do have a bunch of ECB that need to be used though so I need to get in there this weekend.

Most of you may know this already, but you can use the $10 tinkerbell bluray coupon on the regular DVD. I bought it today and it was 19.99 - 10 coupon = 9.99 + tax and got back 5. So including tax I paid $6.50 (I used ECB, so I actually only paid the $1.50 tax for it. Can't beat that!!)

Sorry the thread has been slow! Thanks for all your hard work Flaky!

Flaky, I've been wondering too.

Especially when there are over 1,000 views . . . :confused3:rolleyes1

I'm sure we ALL really appreciate your hard work week after week after week! Thank you from ALL of us, those that post, and those that just read!
:hug::love::goodvibes:thumbsup2

Flakypuff, thank you for all your hard work on all the CVS threads. I always read but usually never post. I really appreciate all the coupon links, too. :goodvibes

I think giving away Lana's ECB sounds like a fine idea. :woohoo::dance3::rotfl2::lmao:

Sorry Flaky...

I've been lurking a lot this week. I think a lot of people are in the same boat as me. Ridiculously busy. I was telling a friend last night that since school started I've had 3 or 4 things to go to every day plus homework with the kids. That on top of only so so sales I just haven't made time to CVS. I was going to go yesterday but chose to stay home and clean before I headed out for my evening of craziness. :sad2:

We DO need more activity on our CVS threads...

If you use oatmeal and can get ahold of two coupons, you can get two boxes for $1 total. 50-cent oatmeal makes a great breakfast!

Ahhh you are all so sweet here. I understand many are reading the thread and not posting...that is fine:rolleyes: I am glad. I just feel it is kind of sad that no one is finding anything worth bragging about:rolleyes1 I mean I even talked with the manager and he said the sales stink. He said the same thing is on sale all the time:teacher: He is right:rolleyes1 The thread used to stay on page one now sometimes I find it on page 4 or 5:scared1::scared1::scared1: I know all of you appreciate it:cloud9: I love doing it every week:) Now...where in the world is LANAJAE?

Hi - I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this thread ... I live up the corner from a CVS and never even knew about this.

I want to become a couponer and try to cut costs so I am reading anything I can find on this topic :)

Anyway, this was my first week doing the ECBs and I was THRILLED with what I got at CVS. I'm not sure I did it all in the right order but I ended up taking two trips (three transactions), using the printable coupons (and one I found on a lipstick) and got -

Dry Idea
2 Right Guards
2 Edge Shaving Cream
2 Revlon Lipsticks
A Glass Jar of Fruit (not on sale but my kiddos like it!)
2 Quaker Oatmeal
2 Extra Laundry Soap
Another Lipstick
A Double Pack of Revlon Mascara

I ended up paying $18 OOP, but I now have $12 of ECBs left ... so I paid $6 TOTAL for all of that stuff!!!!!! :banana: Comes out to 40 cents an item - Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CVS ROCKS :)

And so does this thread .... Thanks so much for posting!:wizard:

Ok, so thanks to this thread, I totally scored on Goodnites! Here's the breakdown:
1st transaction:
2 packs $8.99 ea.
I had 2 $1 off coupons that I forgot to use, so the clerk (very nice) gave me Extra Bucks for it, and ended up giving me $3 instead of $2.

2nd transaction:
2 packs $8.99 ea.
$3EB
$3EB
$2.49 MF coupon
$2 coupon (I don't actually know what this one is!)

So all told, I paid $25.27 (plus tax) for 4 packs of 12 each. That works out to just over $.53 each!

So excited!!:banana::banana::banana:

Happy Birthday Flakypuff!!! :banana::banana::banana:

:worship: Thanks so much for all you do! :flower3:
