Cvs 10/10-10/16 weekly deals

I finally made it to CVS tonight ~ haven't been there in almost three weeks!! I had $5.98 ECB expiring today so I stopped in to pick up some toothpaste.
Here is what I did..
$5.98 Colgate Total (2 packages)
3.00 for 2-8 packs Fun Size M&Ms (my DD11 noticed that they would work with the coupon)
.99 Brach's candy corn
-1.00 Total coupon from newspaper
-1.00 Total coupon from scanner
-0.99 Candy corn coupon from scanner
-1.00 2 Fun Size M&M coupon from scanner
-0.99 ECB
-4.99 ECB
=.46 including tax plus earned $5.98 ECB
Not too bad for a quick trip plus the kids were happy that I bought candy.

Use the $1 off 2 coupon in the 9/19/10 Smart Source, get 2 for $2.98.

This was not in our local ad. I found the detergent in the regular aisle marked with a sale sticker.

I know this is kinda late in the week but I wasn't sure if anyone else saw that the 2Liter bottles of Gold Emblem soda are $1 and giving 1 ECB. So free soda.

My deals this week went like this.
2 Colgates 5.98
2 Quaker 5.00
1 soda 1.00
1 candy corn .99
bottle dep. .05
Total 13.02 pre tax
- 1 mfc Colgate
- .75 Colgate
- 1/2 Quaker gran bars
- .99 candy corn
Total due 9.28 Received back 5.98, 2 and 1 ECB's
Ended up costing $ .34 with tax!

Then I did it again. But I used two $1 coupons on the round bottle of Oatmeal. So it was a MM of a little less than a $1!!!!!

I finally made it out to CVS last night. I did the toothpaste deal, dial soap, quaker oats bars, brach's candy corn, and P&G deal. They were out of the bounce for the P&G but he gave me 3 of the 80 count instead of 2 of the 120 count. I was happy with that.

I'm still debating the Garnier deal, the John Frieda and the Revlon.

maggie -- I was debating the Revon, too, but I think I can make it work better next week when the ECB is $7 on two items. I still have a $7/$15 which expires Sunday and have to get two items any way to get to that total.

I've still got to do the Dial and maybe the Purex.

question: i did the toothpaste, then bought another toothpaste with my 2.99 ECB. so that should have been free, right? but i was charged tax like $.20 or something. should that have happened?

No more shampoo is a truly scary thing! It happened to me once about 20 years ago and my husband swears it is what led me to start a pantry shelf full of items like that! If I get down to only 3 or 4 bottles, I get twitchy.
