if anyone is pricing flights out of Cincinnati, definitely check travelocity, expedia, orbiz, etc....$135 (more or less) Round Trip out of CVG, on Delta (non-stop). That is cheaper than everywhere in the region, with the exception of IND.

Hope this helps someone :)

One very important thing to check is the size of the plane. I'm not sure what the flights are like from Cinci but the non-stops from Columbus are the 30 passengers jets. They were jets but the very small ones. Just double check the jet size before booking with Delta.

Wow!! Just the other night CVG & Delta were plastered all over the news because they are ranked 2nd highest airfare in the nation for initial departure. I guess a little bad publicity would cause a reduction in rates.

Anybody who lives close enough to fly out of CVG, knows better. The planes that depart from CVG are filled mostly through feeder routes because it is so expensive to fly directly out of CVG. People in Cincinnati drive to Columbus or Dayton in order to fly back to Cincinnati and then to their destination, because it is so much cheaper.

These fares are very welcome. But you have to be pretty flexible on dates, leave on M-Th and return T-F. WDW guests staying onsite may find it difficult to juggle their reservations to fit this flight schedule.

I am very skeptical this will be a systemic change in Delta pricing. I am also curious who was more expensive than Cincinnati? I'm thinking Minneapolis.

many of the seats must have filled since yesterday--I was able to check some Friday departs, even as soon as October 3. Many of those flights were on Comair, but some were on 757s.

Delta is not the only airline offering this fare, I was just really surprised to see that they were. they definitely set the tone for fares at CVG.

My parents fly out of Louisville or Lexington, KY

I booked my flight today for Oct trip. I had a voucher for $33 from a trip last year that I was able to use. Got the round trip for $100.50!

We also booked our flights today for our Jan. trip for $133.50/pp for the 5 of us. It's a great deal for us! We've never managed to pay less than $180 so we jumped on it.

I do not recall the airport but I do recall them stating NY was tops.
