Last week I called APH #. Was told my pass reflected a 3/27/20 renewal date & I needed to call back by today to renew. My DH’s was up the middle of May.

Today when I called to process both was told they coudn’t do it until a month before the new renewal dates.

Both automatically were extended for the number of days in the CV-19 closure (re opening date of 6/1/20)

Nice. as all APH renewals thru the end of 2020 will also receive the bonus 3 month extension again.

Yea :) so nice to hear good news for a change!

Yeah - I am really impressed with how Universal has handled this - smart move on their part.

So based on this does anyone really think they wont open in early June?
Yeah they can just extended them again if they need to, but I cant imagine they would waste the time if they were not going to open.

I am expecting some sort of deal overall on Annual Passes (well hoping anyway) liek they did a year or so back.
Due to the way I time my vacations I dont renew every year and dont have one currently. (got a full refund on mine in early March when I cancelled my trip)
I'm ready to buy once they make a deal - sort of surprised they did not offer this to get some cash flow the last few months.

Works for me. What deal are you referencing? The 3 month free is still in force

Anyone remember that amazing “coke can” APH deal for buy one year, get one free deal :)? Wasn’t restricted to FL residents either. Can’t remember which year, but I’m thinking it may have been in response to the 2011 recession fallout.

I’m still thinking mid July, at least after the 4th, re an opening date to non FL residents.

Hmm - Im not seeing the 3 months free for new passes (or 6 months for premier) - that is what I was referring too

Yep, that was the one year my family got passes. My littlest brother grew enough to go on the Hulk just before the passes expired...we “forgot” to tell him about the launch! :p I don’t remember the year but it wasn’t 2011, unless they did it twice- we were all grown by then. It was a Shrek promotion. Around 2003/2004 is my guess...that fits my brothers age, Shrek the 4d film opened in ‘03 and ‘04 Shrek 2 came out.

Can you see the AP expiry date anywhere in the UOR app? I can’t see it anywhere.

So, my concern is this...how does the COVID 19 issue affect APHs that are non-Florida Residents? It is great that they are currently extending the APs, but let's say they do open on June 1st. I will need some help from Florida residents or others in the know. There is a mandatory 14 day quarantine for people traveling to Florida, at least from certain other states...I don't know the full list, or whether mine is on the list. If this is still in effect, when UOR re-opens, it effectively still prevents residents from those states from going to the parks (unless they have already been in state long enough to cover the 14 day quarantine).
If the quarantine order is not lifted for some time, what will UOR do about those APHs? Also, how do they know how long you have been in state?

I read it’s the NY tri state area and Alaska and Hawaii that has the 14 day self quarantine

I’m in Georgia and no issues for a quarantine when I return home from Orlando.

AP holders already received an automatic 3 month extension on their active AP extension

I called the ap hotline and it was verified my extension went through two weeks ago

It was based on thr parks opening June 1

If parks are not opened then, UO will do another extension

Scroll to Florida, notice the edict applies to the 1st recovery phase.

“...DeSantis issued an executive order directing all Florida residents traveling from New York, New Jersey or Connecticut to self-quarantine for 14 days. It remains in effect during the first phase of recovery...”
