Cuttlekids question

I just got a Cuttlekids for my daughter. There were barely any instructions in the thing. We put it through once and I noticed that it cut into the bottom plate. Is that normal? Also, I'm assuming that the foam on the bottom of the shape plate is supposed to stay on there.

It just is weird that there's no instructions and I'm scared I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks!

Rachel

You are supposed to see an imprint on the clear plates. You can replace them when they get too warped and marked up. Rotate how you put them in to get even wear so you don't need to replece them too soon.

The foam is supposed to stay on the die. One thing I don't like about the cuttlekids dies is how flimsy they are.

OK, then we were doing them right. I just thought that was odd cutting into the bottom plate. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the cuttlekids my daughter got had instructions. Of course they're lost now, but they did come with them. Sorry yours didn't have any.

All die cut machines that I've used do that cutting into the mat plastic. You get used to it.

If you buy extra dies be sure they are the cuttlekids because other dies won't work on it.
