Cutting it too close?

I just scored a dining reservation I've been hoping to get, but the time has me a little nervous. It's a 6:55 reservation for Hollywood & Vine character dining when DHS closes at 7:00 p.m.

How late does the skyliner (and/or buses) run? We have two small children who still need car seats, so we can't just grab Uber or Lyft. I don't want to get stranded!

They do not strand you. We were the last ones in the park a couple of times on our last trip due to late ADRs. They had buses sitting there that were not specific to any resort and you would say where you are staying and they’d take you. Like a bus sized taxi.

You'll definitely be able to take a bus back - honestly it was kinda nice thec2 times we did after park close reservations as you just walk up, tell them where you're going, and they radio a waiting bus for you and you're in your way. Now if you're on the skyliner and usinf that as opposed to a bus is important to you; you'd want to make sure you were out of Hollywood and Vine and heading to skyliner by 805ish - generally they close at 830, but I'd be afraid of them closing early so it really just depends on how much usinf the skyliner v bus is important to you, but either way Disney will provide reasonable transportation back to your resort.

The Skyliner may not be running after you leave the park but a bus will be available to you.
