Cutters and how to deal?

This may be unpopular, but I prefer to maintain my calm and just let them cut, so long as it's not completely overt and mean. I don't have a problem, for example, of letting people join groups in line, and am generally ok with people inching forward in line ahead of me in those group type queues. It's just not worth any loss of mellow and I really don't like being angry at Disneyland. Defeats the purpose of my being there.

We had an issue just this week. We were in line right behind a group of 3 and they started being like Bible, Joe, Suzie, etc over here. We were like ok just a couple. And then we turned and saw a mass of people coming to join this couple and I looked at my DH and said NO. And just walked right past the couple who had stopped to wait for their friends. The couple behind us did the same thing. That group of 3 turned into 17!!! NOT COOL. Where is the line between joining a group and pretty much cutting the line.
The other couple behind the one that followed us met up with us after and told us they wish they had followed past them too.
Turns out they were super obnoxious on the ride too. Lucky we were far enough away.

Hi Fresh Baked!! ;):wave2:

When a large group of kids tried to "join" the two friends at Toy Story Midway Mania, I let them and then proceeded to cut in front of the group of 8. One of them started to pipe up, and I said, "Well, you obviously have no problem cutting in line, so I am now cutting in front of you." I was hoping the family behind we would take the hint and do the same thing, but they stayed and unfortunately, I noticed 3 more kids join up just before you pick up your glasses.

We were waiting in line for Anna and Elsa meet and greet and this mother/daughter tries to cut us in line. There was another group behind us so they cut that group too. First the daughter gets up really close to me and starts picking her nose. It was gross. Then as I'm trying to stand away from the daughter, she moves up ahead of me. Then the mother joins her. I spoke up and said that we are in front of them on line and that she needs to move back. The mother said "oh I didn't mean to stand in front of you" so I guess you didn't mean to stand in front of the other group too then.

After I spoke up, the daughter kept kicking me and the mother didn't say anything. She was maybe 9-10 years old.

When we got up to the CM I told her that this mother/daughter was trying to cut in line and that the other family was first. CM was great and said she would make sure to let the other family in first.
