Cuties (the tiny little clementine tangerines/oranges)

Ok I'm confused Are these the same thing as " Clementines " ? If so I get them around here all the time nice sweet The dogs & horse love them too

Funny Garage story :rotfl:

The store I shop at sells Darling Clementines. For the most part, they have been good. Expensive though. $6.49 for a box.

eh, I buy whichever one is cheaper. Sometimes you get a good batch, other times not so much.

Too bad TVGuy - I hope you have neighbors who will eat the oranges. We had a grapefruit tree once, but the fruit was so sour and I didn't have time to research how to fertilize them to sweeten them up. We have a new lime and a new lemon tree that froze early in the winter this year - not sure we'll get them back.

Not sure where else they are grown (Florida?) but California grows a lot and we had unseasonable cold followed by a drought. That can cause real issues with citrus.

I was about to post this. California has had a terrible drought this year, compounded by the fact that water can't get to the central valley to irrigate the land. (google the delta smelt. It is ridiculous!)

I have an orange tree in my backyard that usually grows the most juicy oranges- this year they are all hard- terrible! Because of the weather. Same thing with my neighbors' tangerine tree. It is just a bad year.
