For the last couple nights we keep seeing the new Disney commercials on TV for "Year of a Million Dreams", so every time they come on my DD4 and I watch and get all excited and talk about our wishes and dreams. So this morning on the way to drop her off at the babysitter's we see a comtrail (sp?) (from an airplane) in the sky. She asked what it was, I told her, and she said "I think it is someone's wish come true". I can only think she got the idea from the clouds on the commercials and websites. So cute!! She made me smile. What kind of cute things have you kids said???

Not really something that's happened, but my DS2 says allbody instead of everybody. "Let's go allbody" I hope he doesn't grow out of it

DS when he was 5 had a toothache during dinner and I told him to eat on the other side then. He got up and sat down at the other side of the table and told me it still hurt!!

My 6 year old DS is always asking to watch "Food Neckwork". He also likes to go to "Old Maybe"

I was talking to my Aunt about which costume her dd3 wanted to be this year, pooh or tigger. So my aunt asked her if she wanted to be tigger, and her dd asked who tigger was. So my aunt told her "You know the tiger in pooh that bounces". Her dd's reply was "the costume bounces?"

Back in August, my uncle visited with his 5-year-old granddaughter. I showed her my skull ring and she said, "You're so lucky you're a pirate girl!"

And there was this one time, a coworker's 12-year-old son said, "You're pretty cool for an OLD lady!" I was 27.

Oh, the best one!...I have a badge from Star Tours on my cubicle wall, one that says Jedi Knight. Well, our company sponsors a school, doing book donations and such, and sometimes the kids get to come here for tours. One day my boss brought through a tour group of 6/7 year-olds and stopped near my cubicle. Of course some of the kids weren't interested in what we do, so they started looking at my pictures and cartoons on the wall. One noticed the Jedi badge and blurted, "Are you really a Jedi?" I smiled and said, "Yup." Jaws dropped. Another one challenged me..."Where's your lightsaber?" I said, "Oh, I broke it when I was sparring with Obi-Wan, so I gave it to Master Yoda to fix it." Those poor kids were in complete awe! I wish I could show you the expressions on their little faces...

My DD6 was throwing a tantrum the other night. It had been a long work day, plus it was my birthday and I was a little out of sorts (feeling old). I guess I was getting agitated when she finally screamed ..."I went to school all day, then went shopping for your presents, came home and baked you a cake so you could have the best birthday ever. I'm tired. You could at least cut me some slack!"

Just thought of a few more funny things DD4 says:
She plays soccer and she made a goal last night, she runs up to me and says "I made a gold!" I wish! Also Frosty the Snowman's eyes are made out of "gold" instead of coal.
Whenever we see something I think is neat I'll say to her "Is that cool or what?" She says it's "what"!
The funniest story ever is when my nephew (5) was in the backyard with my mom. The guy on the other side of the privacy fence was mowing his yard, and they were saying how loud and annoying it was, and my mom asked him what he thought that sound was. He says "I know who that is....that's George Bush!" (I gues he had heard us complaing about GB!!!)

My dd2 the other day was standing on the coffee table and her dad told her "Lexi I told you not to be up there" and she said "but dad I'm just a little kid."

the time ds was in kindergarten and felt the need to enlighten a buddy on the proper terms for our bodies and girls have chinas.

This past winter we brought our kids to see "Disney on Ice". My dd5 understood where we were going but I didn't quite think that dd3 understood....I was right. The night of the show, I put them both in their Mickey Mouse shirts, put their mouse ears on and headed out. On the way, we talked about all the Disney people we were going to see and they got really excited because we had been to WDW the year before! So we got to the Civic Center, parked the car and went inside. We found our seats and my DD3 said (with her cute little lisp) "Hey! Thith ithn't Dithney!!"

These are all So Cute! I Love the sweet things that lil' ones say.

My dd5 started playing soccer this season & for the first few weeks she kept calling her shin guards "windshields"
I guess they sound pretty similar when you think about it She does call them by the right name now, but I'll never forget it

My son (now 24) at age 5 when asked if he was having fun at MK by a CM replied..."Yes but I'm hot as he11"

Same son when he was 4, one winter looked out his bedroom window and yelled "It's snowing out" then ran downstairs, looked out the window and yelled "It's snowing down here too"

I tend to tell DD#1 (she turned 3 at the end of June)to "shhhhh" when I'm talking to someone. It started out as, "you're being rude" and evolved to "shhh."
the other day she looked at me and said, "did you shhhhh me? don't you shhhhh me!"

I almost peed myself.

The other thing she says is that boys have "tentacles and peanuts." We are trying to teach her the correct words in case (God forbid) something happens. She also thinks she has a "shiny china."
Unfortunately, we have tried to teach her that you don't use those words unless asked but she likes to point out that a random man at the grocery (which she calls the Disney store) store has "peanuts.".

Many moons ago, my DS informed his Kindergarten teacher that he saw us having sex needless to say, when we arrived to pick him up there was a very concerned teacher waiting for us. Upon further investigation, he thought kissing was sex and we "did it" every morning.

We rent a cabin and go to the Mill Pond every 4th of July. My DD used to tell her babysitter & friends that we were going to go stay in a "cabinet" at the "milk" pond.
She also had the delusion that the cabin was camping. Then we ruined her for life. We made a deposit to her therapy account and took her camping in a tent!

I'm guessing this stoy won't come across quite as funny when it's written out, but I thought it was so sweet and cute that I had to share.

My godson (3) was sitting on the floor with his chin in his hands, brow furrowed thinking about something very hard.

I came up to him and asked , "Hey, whatcha thinking about?"

He looks up at me with a very serious face and says, "twucks. (trucks)

Not particularly funny but he was just thinking soooo hard and sooo serious when he said it. What a cutie!

My DS just came back from Austria and being a good Aunt she brought my DS7 and DD3 back some Euro coins. We talked all about how they were Euros and they could put them in their piggy bank. My DD started putting them in her piggy bank and said to me "You don't have any heroes. I have lots of heroes".

When DS9 went off to camp this summer, his little brother (4) missed him terribly. So, one day when my sister was visiting he told her that he really missed his brother. She suggested to him that maybe he should write him a letter. So, he stumps off to get a piece of paper and a marker. When he returned, he sat down next to her, looked up and said "Which letter do you think he would like? A "W", maybe?"

I'll never forget when my son was younger and he came running to me saying, "I wanna watch the Chippendales, I wanna watch the Chippendales."

My girlfriend was visiting with her son of the same age and she just gave me the strangest look. I didn't get it, so she said, "you let your son watch the Chippendales?" I can't even believe he knows who/what they are.

I just laughed and said, "NO, he doesn't want to watch the Chippendales, he wants to watch, Chip and Dale."

We all still laugh when we think about that one. I'm sure it's one that's not wasted on this crowd either.
