Cute Disney Figurine I Just Got!

I just received the cutest Lenox Disney figurine - it's called Mickey's Teacup Twirl. It's Mickey and Minnie riding in a teacup and it is so sweet!! I stumbled upon it somewhere on the web and have been trying to get one on e-bay for a while. I finally got one for a good price ($45 - it retails for $95) and it just came yesterday. I thought it was the size of an actual teacup, but it's twice as big!! Just thought I would mention it if anyone is looking for an adorable figurine. There are several on e-bay.

I've been watching this figure on eBay as well. . .just waiting for the right price. It is a very cute figure that I am looking forward to adding to my Disney Lenox collection!

If you have not seen this figurine in person, it is so much nicer than the pictures. Minnie's skirt has a pearlized glaze on it. The positioning of their feet inside the teacup is adorable. Like I said, it is a substantial piece - way bigger than I thought. Even my husband was impressed when he saw it!!

I love my name!! I always tell my mom that I'm glad she named me Carol!! I think it's a pretty name and sadly it's not used so much anymore. I'm sure it was popular in the 50's when I was born. I was at a restaurant the other day and my server introduced herself. I thought she said her name was Carol. I looked up at her in surprise because she was probably only about 18 or 19 years old and I asked her if she said her name was Carol? She said no - it's Carolyn!! I told her I was still surprised at that because she was young and you don't hear many young girls being named Carolyn these days. She said her mom really liked the name, but when she was in school, she always wished she had a more modern name like Ashley!! I told her that she should be very happy with her name because it is a beautiful and classic name!! She probably thought I was crazy!!
