Customs pre clearance Dublin

Just a quick question.... We have never flew from Dublin before but we are flying from Dublin to Heathrow to Miami next year and I was wondering if we can use customs pre clearance or is it only for direct flights.

Sorry to tell you But no ....... It is Direct flights to USA .

You are flying to UK & Heathrow is your first stop.

You CAN Hand in your Luggage at the check counter at Dublin & have it booked All the way to Miami

No Collecting Luggage at Heathrow but at Miami and have Immigration & Customs there.

It seems as if you are from The North ( N.I. ) >>>. I am in the South ... Cork

So would you get ( by Car , Bus .... AirCoach , or train to Dublin & take a Flight from there to Miami

Try Aer Lingus to New York & onwards , Delta , Etc

Then you will have Customs & Immigration in Dublin

It seems that the OP has already booked their flights so this advice is probably not of much use.

OP, Woodview is right, though,t hat you cannot use pre-clearance as you will have a stop in the UK before you reach the US.
