Customs: How much can we bring back?

48 hrs = $400

Just drove to WDW and when we crossed at the Queenston Lewiston bridge on May 5 and there were portable billboards with the new amount posted....and then we crossed back this past Sunday they had numerous signs at Duty Free announcing the $400 amount for a 48 hour stay.

Returned Monday night through the Winnipeg airport and claimed $380.00 Canadian and I was waived right through.

We were also told 48hrs=$400.00 and we've crossed the border twice lately and claimed that much without any problems!

Thanks for the link to the Canadian Border Service Agency. So excited about my cross border shopping trip. I will not spend over $400. No taxes or duty.
