Customized Map Trouble

Anyone else having issues on the Disney site when attempting to order the customized maps?

Yeah, about a week ago is started giving me the error notification every time I tried to order them. I tried for 3 straight days with no luck.

Yesterday I gave it one more shot and it actually worked. Don't know what's up with the site, all i can say is just let it be for a bit and try again later.

It might be your browser. I tried first with Iron, then Firefox, and finally with IE. It worked with IE but not the others.

Are you using a MAC? I was told by tech support at WDW that it won't work if you have a MAC- you must use a PC for some reason. Dana

Try creating a new account as you are placing your order, rather than using your regular disney login. I tried for weeks with my regular account and couldn't get it to work. I finally went through the order process and set a new account up while placing the order and it worked fine.

Are you putting your reservation information information in? I was having a problem getting mine, but then I took out my reservation information, and it worked. Not sure if it would work for you, but you might give it a try.

There appears to be an issue with itineraries. If you have a saved itinerary or reservation on their site, uncheck that box in the itinerary section.

Also, make sure your address is in your member profile.

Well that explains why I've been having issues ordering maps...I'm on a Mac.

I didn't have a problem ordering mine about a month ago but my friend was just telling me that her computer kept freezing when trying to do the final step this weekend, seems like its the Disney site

What an odd thing for tech support to say. I've ordered them twice with my Mac and not had any issues. But I don't use Safari, I use Firefox.

I'll uncheck my current itinerary and try again. I do not have a MAC. I use IE. The error message comes up every time I try. I prinited them on regular paper last night... It's just not the same.

Well, that did it! It worked once I removed the check from the intinerary box. Thanks for the advice!

You can create a map that highlights the areas and attractions you plan to visit. So the map is specific to your vacation. It's just a little special something extra (and free) to use on your trip. The regular maps at the parks work just as well!

I just had this happen and like you I had to uncheck the itinerary box and it worked fine! I had been trying for over a month with no luck and finally got it to work 1 month before we leave...so hopefully they get here in time!!
