I'm having trouble preselecting our magicbands. Are you only able to select them when your trip is closer (we're at 107 days). We did 2 split stays last year and had 3 magic bands each. I can see those but I'm not sure how to do new ones. I'm pretty sure they are still issuing new ones for every stay, is that right? We have a package booked right now that includes tickets.

To order customized MagicBands outside the USA do i simply put the resort address in instead of my home address on the My Disney Experience? Last year they weren't mailing them to Canada, I hadn't heard if that had changed. I would like to pick different colors for each of use instead of all having the grey ones.

I can see our old ones from last year and deactivated them and our old key to the world cards. I see our new passes for this year, but no MagicBands above them. Or is it easier to call and have a CM do it over the phone?
 
Nothing has changed for Canadians. You can customize bands now (choose colours and put names in them)and pick them up at your resort. You can leave your Canadian address, bands will automatically ship to your resort. So no need to change the address.

Is your reservation linked to MDE? You should be able to scroll down to the bottom where it says magicbands and cards. Once you click on this button (assuming your package is linked) you should be able to customize your bands.
 
I customized my bands last week for our November trip. You have to change your address to the resort address in order to customize them. It won't allow you if you have a Canadian address as a shipping address.

You don't have to change your address to your resort address to customize your bands. If you are having difficulty customizing them, it usually has to do with the way your postal code is entered. I can't remember if you have to add a space or delete the space though.
 

I have been trying to update my magic bands it wont let me confirm my address. It says there's an error right now. I was fine with the first set of our split stay it's just the 2nd set it is having problems with. I am assuming that its a computer issue on their end. Hopefully this resolves soon.
 
I had the same issue, so I went to update my address and the postal code must have a space. However, this was not my problem. I live in Etobicoke, a former suburb of Toronto, but now lumped in with Toronto. My mail gets to me as either Etobicoke as the city or Toronto as the city. However, when I try to save the city as Toronto it gives me an invalid city/postal code combination. When I changed it to Etobicoke it worked. So you may need to play around with that to make it work. Good luck.

I get that all the time too even though Canada post never recognised East York as a city.
