I have searched and cannot locate any info for customers of size on JetBlue. Would anyone have a link? Does JB even have any rules regarding this?

Thank you

Personally, if I couldn't fit into one seat, I'd fly Southwest, if possible, as you get a free extra seat if they agree that you need one.

Not quite from what I understand. You have to pay for the 2nd seat
but if the flight is not full I think they will refund the cost of the second seat. Also, if someone does not fit into their seat they may require that one be purchased and if there are no more seats one could get removed from the plane. I get that as it's not right that anyone should give up part of their seat.

They'll refund the price even the flight is full (or over full) - the bolding is mine.

Why would a Customer of size purchase a second seat knowing they can get a complimentary second seat at the airport?
Having a second seat purchased in advance allows us to account for the inventory need and greatly helps reduce the likelihood of an oversale situation (having more confirmed Customers waiting to board than seats on the aircraft). Also, there are a number of Customers who do not want to be approached at the airport or have a conversation with an Agent about their seating needs. These Customers of size prefer to know they have the number of seats they require, and we wanted to give them that choice. We will also refund all extra seat purchases, even if the flight oversells.

No, policy changed a while ago, as explained above.
