Has anyone had one of these installed? If so, how has it worked out?

I have one bathroom that could use a little facelift and the idea of no grout and no caulking really appeals to me. But I guess I'm a little concerned about the life span of the tub surround compared to a new tub and tile job.

I've actually installed one or two myself -- they're not too bad to install, assuming you get one that fits into the space well. The only PITA is making sure the adhesive sets properly and it doesn't shift on you.

Good luck :)

One thing about those surrounds -- if you don't get one that's one piece (and you might not be able to find a one piece that fits your space properly), you'll still have caulking to deal with, in the seams. Otherwise, they're easy to take care of and keep clean. :)

I could probably live with just the caulking if I had to. LOL

I'm quite the handyperson so I think I'll head off to Lowe's with some measurements and see what I come up with. I like to see if the boys think I can do it myself or not!!

Thanks for the info, Steve. :)
