Custom Clutches

At DTD last night I bought a container of Custom Clutches -- $15.

What may you ask are Custom Clutches?

In a plastic package container are dozens of different shaped rubber pin backings: Stars; Hearts; Mickey gloved hands; and the usual Mickey head.

And a MICKEY PIN is included!

The CM at the counter had not seen these. And at WoD I showed them to two CMs who had not seen Custom Clutches either.

So guessing these are a new stock item.

Mickey pin -- one hand/arm stretched in the air as if to say Hi or Welcome. Other hand lowered holding one pin in three colors (sectioned into wavey pie shape).
Mickey is wearing a red and blue flower print shirt and red pants.
The usual primary colors, along with black and flesh tone.
The pin back has the 2004 Official pin trading logo.

Any chance you can post a pic? I'd love to see these.

I'm glad for your explanatin too. I just assumed that "custom clutches" were some sort of handcrafted Disney-themed evening purse.

I don't need the rubber backs but I sure do want to see that Mickey Pin.
I put all my pins on corkboard and have boxes of pin backs that I am not using.
Wonder why they would make rubber backs in different shapes, when they are in your books no one even sees them. Probably cause pin people buy everything. lol They know us to well.
