Custom Brides/Dessert Party

My DF and I love the idea of the dessert party during Illuminations, but would like it as a welcome party instead of after the wedding. Is this something that is included in the minimum expense, or only if it is held as an after reception party? Or does it count at all towards that amount? I would also love to see any pictures of Dessert partys held during Illumiations, if anyone has them.

only events on your wedding day count towards your minimum so a welcome party the day before of illuminations wouldnt be counted. as for illuminations party pictures check out the wedding photo sticky on top of this forum a few girls have had the parties & they are amazing by all accounts & photos. we are having an illuminations party after our reception in march at uk terrace & were so excited.
