custom avatar help

Help! How do I customize my avatar? I want to change to:

http:www.disboards.com/sites/oldkicker2/avatarani_compressed.GIF

and it won't take it. I see others have it so, what am I doing wrong? Does it need something like [ or ] placed somewhere? Another URL for the same thing didn't work either. UGH!

KimRaye, that's not a good URL. When I click on it, I get a page cannot be displayed message. Do you have another link for it?

Pixie Power, you can change your avatar in the user cp under edit options. It's at the bottom of the page. Is there something specific that you don't understand?
