Curves near Disney?

Hi Everyone:
There was talk that there was going to be a Curves opening in Celebration in January, 2004. Does anyone know if it did? Also, when I was there in October, I tried to find the one that is on or near the John Young Highway and after traveling a half hour (got directions at the resort), did not find it and decided if it was that far out and I hadn't found it, it wasn't going to be worth it. Does anyone know if there is a closer one? Thanks.

I have not heard of the Curves in Celebration opening as yet

I got this info from the main Curves site, so there is always a chance new ones have popped up since I don't know how often they update their site.

Also, you could call on of the ones listed and see if they know anything about the Celebration Curves opening. It may turn out that the person who owns one of those also owns the Celebration one

Hi There!!

I work at a Curves in MD - who's owner is the one opening up the location in Celebration.....there have been some snaffoos with the building, so at this point it looks like end of March/early April - but that could change again depending on the builders/contractors etc. I will post here once I get a definate date! I can't wait for this location to be opened!!!

I will tell you that when I was there in Sept 2003, I tried 2 x to find the Curves location on John Young, and didn't find it....even with directions from Map Quest.

Hi Everyone!!

Got an update from the owner today - it appears that the Curves at Celebration will be able to open (finally!) in April....she will give me more up to date info as she gets it!

I work out at the one on John Young Parkway when I'm down at WDW (like next weekend).

It was hard to find in the beginning, but it's easier now.

However- if the Celebration location isn't too overwhelmed (when it opens), I might go there instead!!
