Currently have BWV, but may have to change dates

We currently have BWV booked for the last week in August, because that is the only summer time I get off at the private autism school I work at. We have an awesome Boardwalk view studio booked, but there is a chance we will have to cancel that ressie and re-book another week earlier in August. See, I am applying to the public school systems in our area (changing careers to teach Special Ed) and if I get a job the new teacher orientation is of course that last week in August

So, my question is, since we will definitely not be able to get a BWV room on the short notice of probably a month or 2, do you think we will have a chance of getting any studio at all for mid-August? We probably won't know if I have a job until June!!!!! UGH!!!! I was thinking maybe OKW or SSR might be possible, but maybe not. Are the resorts usually totally booked in mid-August?

Don't get me wrong, I would much rather have the job than have a sweet room for a week, but heck, I want to have a job and eat my Disney cake too

I went last summer from August 5th through the 12th. I made changes to the studios that we were staying at in June so it is possible. I was able to get ones at AKV, SSR, and BWV (both SV and garden) and even BLT LV.

I ended up taking the BWV garden view room and the BLT room. So, yes, I think there is hope that you could end up with the rooms.

If you have any extra points and can call now to book some of those nights (without borrowing), you may want to think about securing some of them from now and then canceling out later.

Of course, if all your points are tied up with the current reservation, that does not work.
