We live in Florida and you're right. Each day cases keep going higher and higher. We are hearing "stay-at-home" is coming soon. Just another thread where it just amazes me how many people just didn't care and continued going to the parks etc. like nothing was going on

We live just north of Tampa, and it has been crazy here. Spring breakers coming in, getting frustrated that our stores are wiped out etc. Finally they closed the beaches nearest to us, but these people are insane! They honestly just don't care.

Many cities/states are shutting down restaurants to carry out/delivery/drive through only. Florida hasn't yet, but Florida is about to become a hot zone. It will happen.

For the record, it did. I believe yesterday. Next will be "all non-essential businesses." For now, gyms and fitness centers are closed, bars are closed, and restaurants are takeout/delivery/drive through only.

And when Spring Break is over and these irresponsible people leave, guess where they are going, since the colleges and universities are closed...back home to Mom, Dad, Grandma, etc. And taking any virus germs along with them back to those more vulnerable. They will care if they come down with the virus and infect family members, but by then it is too late.

Yeah, we live in St. Pete (hi! ) and my mom's friends who come down from WI every year and stay at a beach condo had to cut their vacation short because everything's closed.

Hi neighbor . Hope it's more sane down there. We are in Spring Hill. Stay safe, and I am hoping now that things are closing less people will be coming down!
