DH and I are flying down to DW on Thursday and us being the weather.com geeks that we are, we keep checking the weather and it shows lots of stupid weather headed in the direction of Florida this week.

I know, typically, Orlando gets a brief shower during the day and it usually doesn't last long, but we have never gone this time of year before, we usually go in April/May. Is it stupid of us to be concerned about what the weather might be like this upcoming week and next weekend? Part of us is just saying the heck with it, just go anyway, but another part of us is saying maybe we should go elsewhere. :confused3

Is there anyone there right now that can give some indication on what it's like? Are you seeing any nice days at all? Is there anyone sitting there reading this shaking their heads at me for worrying, wishing they had the opportunity to go? :rolleyes1

Pretty "normal" Florida weather right now - even the 10 day forecast is "autoplay" for this time of year...
Great mornings/early afternoons, and then afternoon or evening showers. Rarely (I say rarely for those who have experienced differently) in the three years I have lived here(unless there is a hurricane) - do we ever had a day that is a total washout. Storms are scattered as well - one area can get rain, and another see none.....

It is still hot and humid.

Yesterday it started to rain later the day - We were at EPCOT from noon until 6pm with no rain.

Today it POURED down rain around 3pm in the I Drive area - but it was over in 30 min or so and the sun was out..... Here at my house tonight - it is showering this evening!

Come on down - have a great time--- just bring your ponchos!

Oh, gosh, still humid!! We live in N GA, and we have had very pleasant days for the past several. I had hoped that the humid weather had also passed in Florida too.

We are flying out Thursday too and will have ponchos ready. We went last year at this time and like PP said, tehre was never a total washout day. During our Epcot day, it did rain quite a bit, but it was never a downpour - just a steady sprinkle. My GMIL lives in FL and says that there are always afternoon showers in teh summer/fall.

Have a great trip!
