Allears has a new vegetarian option listed at Coral Reef! NOOOO!
We had LOVED the vegetable streudel last summer...the new dish is some sort of pesto risotto with blue cheese and lemon grass. It doesn't sound too appealing, and having experienced the salad there last summer, we know how badly the can mess up.

Anybody had the new dish yet? Any pictures? How is it? We're going to call ahead and see if they still do the streudel, but otherwise, we're thinking we might be changing that ADR. As I recall others have not had success with requests there...?

Also...does anyone know what the latest veg. option at Garden Grill is? Any pictures of that?

We'll probably be sticking with Epcot...we already have Le Cellier, R&C, and Chefs there. We are not interested in Teppanyaki as they do the meat on the same teppan, nor are we interested in Nine Dragons as they have a reputation for non-vegetarian stocks.

Yes I can tried it because of my mother and sister ordered it and Ill just put it like this:
If you want a plate of mush cooked in ear wax and a 7 pounds of bitter flavorings then get it. It was absolutely DISGUSTING. Do NOT NOT NOT get it. There wasn't even a vegetable or anything that you can eat of the plate. It looks like vomit.:crazy2:

DH had the pumpkiin risotto when we were there in September which he enjoyed but was very sweet, judging by that the chef did know how to make a tasty risotto, but who knows. The veggie option at Garden Grill in October was Butternut Squash risotto, DH cleared the plate but said it wasn't quite as good as Coral Reefs.

I also had the pumpkin risotto when I was there 11/30. The server said it was very "pumpkin-y". But unfortunately I didn't think it was, I thought it was pretty bland and not hot. I'm not vegetarian, but I'd ordered it because I love pumpkin (and I try not to eat too much red meat at WDW). It was very disappointing to me. That was the only vegetarian option that day.
