Current Use Year? Please Advise!!

If all goes well, we will be buying at SSR next week during our trip. Will January be my use year, or will it be delayed until the Phase opens up? I am really concerned that a late summer use year will cause problems with early summer trips.

There are no January, May, July or November use years so it won't be January when you buy. I'm not sure what they are selling now but you should explain to your Guide what would be good for you. I'm sure they will work with you on it.

Added: But if the building doesn't open until August then you won't be able to get a use year before that.

We just spoke with them the other day & August is the Use Year that they're selling....

It would only be a problem if for some reason you had to cancel at the last minute. As long as you cancelled by the end of January, you could still bank all of your points.

Nothing else would matter except a last minute cancellation.

If they offer you a use-year that you don't like, just tell your guide that you are waiting to join until later. It's amazing how quickly another use-year can come up--you may have to wait another couple of weeks, but who cares? It is very important to get a use year you like.

Not quite sure, but I think we got to choose our use year at SSR. Did you ask for a specific month?

I talked to my guide just a few minutes ago. She told me that we could get the Use Year that we wanted. She is going to be on one of the cruise ships the week of our vacation, so she just put a note in our file for the guide that does our tour.
