Current soup at Biergarten?

My family and I are going to be at Biergarten in just over a week and since I am just not a patient person, I was wondering if anyone on here had been there recently and could tell me what the current soup is there. I'm hoping for the beer cheese soup.

We were there on Tuesday and it was the asparagus soup. Sorry!

We were there on 9/28 and it was split pea soup.

If you like asparagus then it was good ... not thick, not many pieces, not strong ..... I had a few spoonfuls and then figured it really wasn't good enough that I wanted to waste stomach room on ... too many other goodies.

our favorite at Biergarten when we went ..a year ago was the potato leek soup...it was outstanding...

We were there on Monday 9/14 and it was a tomato bisque. It was very good.

We had the asparagus soup last time we were there and thought it was really good.

But, I agree, their beer cheese soup is amazing. Blows Le Cellier out of the water.

From talking to the chef back in May, we learned the soup differs from lunch to dinner so you may see different responses here based on mealtime. At that time we had asparagus soup during lunch and it was really good.

Do they ever have the potato leek soup anymore? That was sooo good and was the only thing I actually really liked there. It is hubby's favorite and his only choice every time we go.
