Hi all!
What is the current offer for rebooking a 7-day while onboard?

On the 10/11 Magic the rebooking offer was 10% and $200 stateroom credit. I asked about the prior offer where there was a $400 credit and she said that was a short-time promotion and they are back to the $200.

We were on the 10/18 Magic. They were still offering 10% off, $200.00 credit. Sorry that I didn't have better news for you.

We just got off the 10/25/03 Magic and the offer was 10% off the regular early booking rate and $200 onboard credit. Needless to say, we re-booked onboard for the 9/4/04 Magic.

Does anyone know .....

If you rebook onboard and get the 10% and $200 credit, can you later change the date of your cruise? Is there a penalty? Can one couple book 2 rooms with this deal?

I want my Mom and Sister to come with us on our next cruise, but I wasn't sure if they would go. I asked about booking 2 cabins and changing the names later. Basically, you can change the name of 1 person in the cabin, but if you change both names it is a rebooking and the advantage is lost.

But, . . . Donna the booking agent onboard recommended us booking 2 cabins and splitting MY family. DH and DS in one cabin. Me and DD in another. That way, we can add any additional people at the great rate. If we decide not to add any people, then we move into one of the cabins and drop the other.

And, she said moving to a different date was no big deal. In fact, I want Memorial Day, 2005 and those dates are not open until this January. She said I would get the 10% off the first rates avail as long as I call in January to move to the date I want.

Get all that?? :D

You can change your cruise date without penalty and keep your onboard credit. This I know for sure because we've done it.

If the cruise date you are changing to is a different price than the one you had when originally booking, I think the 10% would be adjustable? Not sure of this one because we didn't get a 10% offer last time.

You do not have to report who is staying in what stateroom. I would rebook onboard with you in one stateroom and your DH in the other stateroom as Donna said, BUT once you board, I wouldn't worry about who is staying where. They are not going to check. You'll just need to personally keep track of the stateroom charging and tips according to who is actually in each stateroom.
