Current promotions or offers for the purchase of Disney Gift Cards?

I was thinking along the lines of "Buy $X in Disney Gift Cards and receive $X", like iTunes occassionally does.

I didn't see any advertised in any of the ads we received this week but our paper is small so we don't get all the ads.

And, every savings helps!

I haven't seen anything along those lines in a while, not since before Christmas. I'm not a Sam's Club member so I don't know if they've got their offer for a shopping card with purchase of a regular gift card still going or not, but the best I've seen in the last couple months has been the 5% off for using a Target debit card.

Sam's in Southern California doesn't have the $100 GC for $98 and change and $10 bonus shopping card.

The best they have is the $50 gc for $48.88 and the $25 gc for $24.88

It would be nice for this to be a running thread on the Budget Board. I wouldn't mind picking up a card or two when I know of a good deal.

If you have a Kroger in your area, they offer gas points for purchasing gift cards. Around Christmas they were offering 4x the points for gift cards. Right now it is 2x the points. We had a Disney bill to pay off, so I purchased gift cards to pay for the transaction and received several gas points in return.

Today's Pathmark/A&P ad said if you buy $25 in gift cards, you get a $5 coupon off future food purchase. I was happy to see this, since Stop & Shop has offered similar promotions, once it was buy $50, get a $15 food coupon, the other time it was buy $100, get $10 food coupon.

I dashed over to my Pathmark, and they do not SELL the Disney gift cards! Bummer, they have a large selection but no Disney. I will check an A&P if I get the chance, they are a town or 2 over from here.

These are the kind of promotions I'm looking out for, specifically with Kroger. I know they've done them before, so hopefully we will see them again sometime in the near future.

We have a local chain that runs a similar offer, but like yours they don't carry Disney cards so it isn't of any help to me. I've been told they do have Disney cards at one of their locations, but I'm not going to drive the 30ish miles to find out.

Tom Thumb/Safeway has a 4X points for gas discounts.
Trying to decide if it is worth it. It's just so much easier for me to keep up w/ charges if it is on my credit card.
