Current Popcorn Buckets on the Fantasy

Last November we were on a Very Merry cruise and purchased the cutest Christmas Alien bucket. We bought a couple and ended up taking a ton of pictutes with one of them all around the boat because we were gifting it to a friend when got home so we sent him with pictures of his trip.

I was wondering if they had any new character style popcorn buckets. We are cruising later this year and thought it would be fun to buy our friend another bucket and so the same thing. Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Also could we bring the bucket back on our next trip? Will they honor the refill price like they do at the parks?

Based on the most recent reports, they will refill whatever bucket you present at the refill price.

That is adorable! I wouldn't have considered buying a popcorn bucket but seeing this thread I will have to check them out!

IDK what the current one is but if you see something you like buy it fast. When we first got on they had Toy Story 4 but by the time I got ready to buy popcorn those were sold out. I actually ended up liking the bucket I did end up with better and was super glad my kids weren't upset because I was worried they would be.

I read somewhere that people can bring bucket from Disney World from previous trip for refill, is it still true?

We have a popcorn bucket that we bought our first cruise many years ago. For some reason, on the first night, they will never give us a refill. However, if we present the bucket anytime after the first day, it is refilled without problem. I would love to know if anybody else has encountered this or if anybody understands the policy behind it.

I love our Pluto popcorn bucket! We bought it on the NYC/San Juan cruise and saw them in the parks as well. We have a hound, Gus and Pluto reminds us of him.

Yes, sometimes they are the same. We got a Christmas theme popcorn bucket at Hollywood Studios 2 days before our cruise and then gifted it to someone in the park because I didn’t want to haul it on the cruise. First night waking by concessions and there is the same bucket we just gave away!!

We saw him on our very merry too. I was seriously debating getting one. It would make a cute cookie jar for dog treats.

Lifetime popcorn refills now? Is this like "I'm entitled to free soda at Disney World for life because I bought a mug in 1998" all over again??? Keep it up and you'll find RFID tags on every popcorn bucket just like soda cups.
