Current PIN Codes

Both my husband and I got one via email today (separate email accounts) ... Same offer for a room discount and free park hopper passes but through the end of August. We have a slightly lower priced trip booked already through an agent exclusive offer for later in September so won't be changing.

I got that % off + free park hoppers PIN/UOC last summer. Saved a nice chunk of money for us (~750). If I get that again this year, it will probably be slightly better saving than the current Summer Meal Deal we have booked. We'd have to sit down and really think about which deal would better for our family, though. Of course, there's no guarantee I'll get that PIN/UOC this year.

Yes, this is the email I got today. 8 digit code. My very first (!) after going to WDW and staying onsite for 40 years!

Even though I don't go during these months anymore, I was delighted to get a first time code. Lo and behold when I tried to click on it for the details (as in which Deluxe resorts were involved), the form had auto filled in the code but wouldn't accept my name and zip code. How ridiculous since it went to my own email from Disney Destinations. I was not happy.

I clicked on a 'Contact' link and questioned what was going on and am hoping for a explanation.

Can anyone possibly tell me which Deluxes are mentioned and at approximate cost? Is it 30% for Deluxe?

Thanks so much.

Typical 30% deluxe, 20% moderate and 15% value

Is anyone receiving PIN codes currently? If so, when are they for? I know in the past they would sort of come out in waves. But I haven't heard a lot of talk of them lately. Just wondering what's going on with them now. Guess I could call and just see if there's anything attached to my account!

I have been going to disney for the past 20 some years, our last trip was in August 2015 and we had never received a pin code before. Now every few months we are getting pin codes and the ONLY thing we did different was purchased the memory maker. Last night we just received a pin code that is good until August and includes 30% off deluxe room and free upgrade to park hopper pass. We are waiting to receive the one for the fall since we are going to Disney in November this year

That's very interesting because with the Gold AP I now have memory maker (would have preferred a discount) for the very first time. Maybe THAT's why we are suddenly getting a code....with your very same offer.

Thank you. If someone who has been able to 'click on it' could tell me which (if not all) of the Deluxes are included, I would appreciate it.

OMG!!!!! I'm having the same issue!!!!!! LOL. Even though I'm not going on the dates they mentioned but I wanted to see the full offer anyway. Plus, if they hopefully send me one for my trip in November, I want to be able to get through. Geez Disney, your systems need some help. LOL.

For people who have received pin codes through mail, how does it arrive? Is it a postcard, letter, an insert with the Disney Visa statement?

The ones I've gotten in the mail are usually a 1-page brightly colored mailer on card stock folded in half. They usually have some catchy phrase on the outside like "come back and enjoy the magic" or something along those lines. They're hard to miss -- it's not something you would think was junk mail.

I got the same pin code to my email and it also would not take my last name. I finally tried my daughter's married name and it took that. So she is not going this trip and we can't use the pin code.

I just had this happen on Wednesday. I received a PIN code for the current offer of up to 30% off our room and free park hopper. We are already booked at WL for 8/13-8/20 since last year. When I clicked on the link it wouldn't take my last name and zip, only my Mom's. So I called up and explained the situation over the phone. She could not find anywhere that my Mom's name/address was linked to my email address (she did travel with us in 2009, but all her travel docs and such came to our address since I booked everything). Even my Dad's name(who is now deceased, but still in their system) did not show a connection to my email address. She and another person were trying to figure out what was going on, but she wasn't sure she could apply the code since my Mom is not traveling with us this time. Finally she put me on hold and spoke with someone in guest services and that person gave the OK to apply the code to our trip (which saved us $500). She made notes on our account, gave me the guest services person name as well and told me to keep the email in case there were be any questions. I'm still not sure if they were able to straighten out email/address connection since they couldn't see anything in their system. The cast member I spoke to Wednesday was wonderful and very helpful. She must have spent about 30 minutes to help me out.

Could you book the trip with her on it and then call and take her off in a few weeks. I know I was able to book 3 rooms with my last pin code and my MIL at the last minute changed her mind, so we cancelled her room with no issue. I would think it is worth a shot.

Thanks. I've gotten pin codes the past year when we haven't been able to go... Hope I can get one when we are able too

My sister got the "A Little Extra Pixie Dust" PIN/UOC code today. 8 letters/numbers via e-mail. Hoping she gets and FD one for Fall. We used her PIN to book FD at POFQ in 2013. I think what she got is an UOC, I hope

I also have been wondering how you receive these Pin Codes.... I read anything I could find to figure out how you are sent these infamous codes with no luck! Over the last 20-30 yrs, I have ordered NUMEROUS planning VHS tapes and DVD's dreaming about the day that we could go. We finally got to go last year for the first time..... But we've never even seen one of the mysterious codes!
