Current Incentives? WDW or Doorway to Dreams

Does anyone know what the current incentives are at WDW vs Doorway to Dreams? I'm considering adding on a AKV.

According to my guide in Orlando, the incentive is the same as from them (i.e. $104-10 for SSR and 104-8 for AKL or developer points).

I would check with doorway though as I am not sure if I believe my guide really knows?

Thanks CPTJAK! My guide at WDW told me the same info about the incentives there. I'm also wondering if anyone knows the current incentives at the Doorway to Dreams. I might be willing to drive there if its better.

These different incentives must be driving the guides crazy.

It is the DVC "store" that recently opened in the Chicago area.

My question though would be if we would be able to get the Doorway to Dreams incentives since once we are members, we should only be contacting our guide? My parents are going up to Chicago in a few weeks so I am very interested in finding this out.

Yes, I think you can buy through the Doorway to Dreams (at least you were able to during the grand opening) even if you are a member already. It seemed chicago had different incentives than WDW... just as California does...

This must frustrate the guides to have different incentives... but I'm just trying to find out the best deal.

Right now, WDW has $8 off AKV or single Developer points. I was hoping for $8 or AND Developer Points.

We just purchased at the Doorway to Dreams and were told that the incentives were the same in Chicago as what is being offered in Florida. We purchased 160 pts at Saratoga Springs and were offered either $10 off per point or bonus points (points given = points purchased) that had to be used up within one year of purchase. We chose the $10 off because we knew we wouldn't be going until the spring anyways. The year begins in April when you buy in Chicago. They have a complete layout for ajoining studio/one bedroom layouts (together would form a 2 bedroom) for Animal Kingdom Lodge.
