Current Incentives ie Magical Beginnings, Disney visa etc

Hello all, I've searched but couldn't find the answer I was looking for so figured I would ask here. Do all currently on sale resorts have Magical Beginnings and Welcome Home and Disney Visa discounts? I assume none of the sold out resorts have them but I couldnt find a definative answer as to which ones did have any/all of those promotions. Also I assume they all start at the 150pt mark. Magical is $20/pp rebate, Disney Visa is $1000 rebate and Welcome Home is $1000 if I remember correctly right? Thinking of selling my OKW 2042 contract and replacing it but wanted to have an accurate comparsion of resale vs direct. Thanks!

No typically older resorts will not qualify for any of the special discounts. Sometimes they do have an incentive on them but the additional promos like Visa do not apply to them even when they are on promo.

Current incentives end tomorrow so I doubt we'll see new ones until at least Tuesday.

Last time they came out early morning (after midnight) day after expiration. So should be there when we wake up on Tuesday.

I will go straight to disboards rather than the website as I know I will wake up to that thread and everyone's opinions and arguments

Exactly. I only know anything about anything because other people pay closer attention and post about it here. I did screenshot the current incentives because my guide is off the grid and said anything her clients want while she's gone, she guarantees we can get it when she gets back. Not saying I'll be buying a direct contract, but it's also not impossible that I won't.

I always screenshot the ones before too to see the difference, this round if you take advantage of all the incentives (d23 and visa) came out to the same as the round before.

I'm not looking to buy direct either but I am waiting for a Riviera fire sale, if that were to happen next year or the following that would be perfect for us. But if it doesnt I'm totally okay too I just love a bargain loll. Direct appeals to us at the right price.

We should have the links posted on the DISboards shortly after midnight ET, but we'll have typically have to wait until the AM to hear about any new incentives beyond price per point (i.e. welcome home, flash sales on sold out resorts, etc) - basically until someone has been in touch with a guide. www.dvcfan.com and www.dvcnews.com have summary articles up very quickly as well.

The URLs don't generally change, so if you have the current pricing sheets bookmarked, they should simply be updated. (This is why @Girlstar30's plan to screenshot is a good one!) You can tell by reading the fine print at the bottom, which has the expiration date listed. A few incentive rounds ago, when I was buying points and considering rewriting my contract, I just refreshed and refreshed until I saw the new and updated date. Being on the West Coast has its advantages.

I hate the term "fire sale" in respect to the dvc incentives, in my mind unless they start giving discounts on as little as 50 points then its just a regular sale.

Not all of us need 300+ points.

I don't want a big contract either, just something that is out of the ordinary cheaper like the VGF BPK sale is what i would consider a fire sale

It's so weird. The Polynesian isn't on my current list of resorts in the Add on tool. It was there the last time I looked (probably 2 days ago). I guess maybe they are working on the next offers?

Unless they add really good incentives at the 100 point level or below, same. So I'm 99.99% sure I'm out for this round.

If I considered anything it would have to be enough to cover 1-bedrooms. I doubt the incentives will support that math, but I can always hope/dream!

I actually saw a decent BLT pop up on the resale market and I told myself I would place an offer on it once I found out about the new direct incentives, but it looks like someone else snatched that BLT up TODAY so it can't temp me anymore.
