Current housekeeping situation?

Has anyone come back recently who can let me know what the current housekeeping situation is. I have read a few things for recent DVC stays, but am wondering what the sitation is for the regular hotels.

I stayed at WL in August (BR as a cash stay) and it was full housekeeping every other day. Room checks daily.

AOA was every 3rd day or 4th day but hey had carts down each hallway to get your own towels/TP if you needed something. This was for the suite rooms not sure about the little mermaid rooms.

AoA little mermaid rooms have trash and towels every second day and room/bathroom cleaning and bed changing on request. We asked for room cleaning and bed changing every 4th day of a 14 night stay
just now and it was no problem. Just ask at reception the day before you want it done.
