Current Garden Grocer info?

It's my understanding that if you do not order alcohol, you do not need to be in the room for delivery. However, if you do order alcohol, you do have to be in the room. Is this the correct current information?

I do not think you need to be present either way. For our order in January, which did include alcohol, we simply sent them a copy of DH's driver's license, and they left our order with Bell Services.

We've always had to call bell services & ask them to bring us our order after we get a text from Garden Grocer. So we're always in our room when it's delivered.

Well, yes you have to be in the room to have bell services bring the groceries. I was assuming the OP thought you had to be present at the hotel/in the room when Garden Grocer delivered the order.

We ordered and received alcohol the first week of March. I scanned in my ID and emailed it to them. It was delivered to BWI while we were on the magical express bus. DH and I picked up our order from bell services (we tipped BS for holding the bags, but carried them to our room). So, GG will deliver alcohol we ordered products that were on their website.

They deliver beer and wine, but no longer deliver hard liquor.
