Current free dining offer expires May 18. What's next? (Looking for rumors!)

Can someone help me with this question?
If we book a trip for 10/4 - 10/9 and free dining comes out for general public, would we get free dining? (assuming my resort has availability)
Based on the current pins, FD is available until 10/4.
A CM told me that because our last day falls in the free dining time, that it would apply to our whole trip. Is this correct?

If you check-in on 10/4 and FD is good through 10/4 then you would get FD for your entire stay.

that would be correct. You just need to have it on check in day

I called and had a pin too!!!!!!!!

I had Free Dining, with QS at values and DDP at Mods and Deluxe. My inital checking showed little availablity at the Mods, but AoA was available! I think I am looking closely at AoA. Now decisions to make.

Here are the dates for my pin directly off of the Disney website.

For check in dates

September 30 - October 4, 2012, October 19 - November 1, 2012, November 9 - November 15, 2012, November 23 - November 29, 2012, and December 10 - December 13, 2012.

It will cost you more to buy the water, snacks and then pay to ship them down, then if you went to Garden Grocer and ordered everything through them.

You may be right. We used to get free shipping from Costco, but it doesn't look like they do that anymore. However, I might not meet GG's $40 minimum requirement because it's only DS and myself this year. Hmmm. More to ponder.

Please add me to the list. Our dates are Nov. 25-30. This is our fourth trip to WDW, but our first in Nov. I make ADRs Tuesday and still can't figure out when to go where. I'm going by Easywdw suggestions. We're also planning 1and a half-2 Universal days I have been calling for the free dining pin for 2 days with no luck. UGGGGGGH!

Try Amazon. You can get free shipping a lot of the time with them.

One last question- if free dining begins in the middle of my trip, does it make sense to book a room only for the first half and free dining for the remainder?
Can someone remind me how early we could pick up our tickets if we did this?

Got my email PIN today...with a 30% code. I soooo need FD!! PLEASE, please, please let this go GP soon. We're hoping for 9/29-10/4. (We missed being able to book by the 5/18 cut off.)

Excited at the possibility of FD going public for Oct. but bummed the second weekend would likely be blacked out. Ideally we would want to arrive on the 12th or 13th. Guess we will end up picking the 19th or 20th as our arrival date.

If its offered and your dates are flexable, I would def move them to get FD-our dates are NOT so hopefully itll be offered

I hate to change it to the 19th because she would miss more school and I really didnt want to go on the weekend. The week days are so much better crowdwise.
