Current free dining offer expires May 18. What's next? (Looking for rumors!)

My MIL has gotten EVERY free dining pin for the past 3 years!!! She gets them every 4 months like clockwork, but has never been able to use it. Now, we finally are going to go...

Will that pin arrive again? We shall see...

The way it was explained to me, even though you already have a booking, you need to make sure that there's a room available at that new discount, in order to get the free dining, correct? Essentially, that you can't change your particular room. Does that make sense?

Or, in the alternative, since I have already applied a 30% off, is it just a matter of calling WDW when FD is announced, telling them to give me FD instead, and the change is made?

When I tried booking at POR, the only rooms available were Royal rooms. That was with a 30% discount. Not free dining.

You tried booking POR Royal Rooms with free dining and it wasn't available? What week were you looking at?

They are. These are the dates told to me...I cn't say for sure they are 100% right.

Well these are black out dates

Oct 5-18, Nov 2-8, Nov 16-22, Nov 30-Dec 9

I hope it's not the 30th. Last year it was the Saturday to Saturday and we added on that Friday because it was cheaper to fly and we got FD, and so I booked the trip with the hopes of that again this year.....

I do know for 100% sure that the pin code has a blackout date on the 30th as I was booking a client and that date was blacked out for her. Now if she checked in on the 29th, she could get the offer.

Pop Warner ends on the Saturday this year - it normally ends on the friday. That's why the 30th is still in the blackout period I imagine.

I would call and see if you could use it for regular dining plan, I bet you will be able to.

You should be able to pay the difference and upgrade to Plus- I think that for adults it was $16 per day.

So I hear that people are finding pin codes under their spouses name. Each time I call, they just always check our email address. Should I specifically ask them to check names??

Can anyone who was lucky enough to receive the new FD pin confirm blackout dates for November please. I thought previously the blackouts ran sat-sat?? Because of that I intentionally booked us arriving 11/2 (fri) bc I know our trip falls within the storm of events Jersey week and such

So please do you know if that weeks blackout starts the 2nd or 3rd?? Also do the pin blackouts generally match what is released GP??

Was already thinking of adding a day at the end..sched to leave 11/11 and thinking FL will prob be opened that weekend with the first mvmcp 11/9 (we're going to that) to give us the full day sun 11/11 with emh. The thought of adding a day on each end, staying at the Poly, is well ouch!
