Current DVC swag and VGC guide

Just got back from a wonderful 4th of July stay at the Grand Californian! Zero complaints here (And I am hard to impress and I was very impressed) Everything was wonderful and service impeccable! Super impressed that we called the front desk when we were thirsty in the morning and the gift shop was closed and they delivered us four large size bottles of Dasani water absolutely free!

I also had the best burger ive ever had in my life from room service and we loved the redwood view we were given. My impression of the resort has really exceeded my expectations I can now see why people pay an arm and a leg to own here!

Drawstring bags with hats, coasters and lanyards are being given at the DVC member center for all members, they didnt actually even verify that we were actually members which surprised me, but we talked to them for a while and maybe with all the information we knew it was obvious.

Over at the Golden Vine Winery the tumblers are sadly gone. They were released for the recent food festival apparently and they sold out last week. The guides were surprised they lasted so long.

The guides we met were wonderful. One of them told me that he was the guy to go to for direct Grand Californian points. He said he was able to grab points for 5 members recently and gave me his card to give if anyone is in the market for them. We are not, but i told him I would pass the info along to anyone who is interested!

The coasters I have found the drawstring bag very useful too! Easy to wash all the park germs away when I get home

Yes the coasters were definitely the favorite, useful and adorable

This was an "i was refreshing my dvc search like a psycho 2 months before 4th of july one night and somebody must have cancelled 5 nights in a deluxe studio and I hit the jackpot" situation

DVC SLOTS

I stalk the website often for various trips mainly because I am indecisive, I change my plans often, I change my plans last minute, and I go to Disney way too much now that I am a DVC owner. I am certified DVC gambling addict. I have the site up on my desktop in the background and so I am constantly pulling the lever hitting refresh and update all day long. In essence I am playing the DVC slots to see what I can score for that upcoming trip!

Often you can hear all the coins dropping in the background when a great room pops up.

I stalk the website often for various trips mainly because I am indecisive, I change my plans often, I change my plans last minute, and I go to Disney way too much now that I am a DVC owner. Ive never seen the fireworks there on the 4th, were they really good?

I really enjoyed them, it was very patriotic with songs such as "this land is your land" "Yankee doodle" and the star spangled banner among many others.

The castle and Matterhorn had the American flag projections and Captain America scenes. It was really nice watching Paint the Night and having a firework show like that right after.

The park was surprisingly not insanely crowded like years past, but ofc still crowded and I was just so damn happy that I was staying on property after exiting the park and seeing the line for the trams and just being a hop skip away there's nothing like it. It was bumper to bumper exiting so turning the corner and escaping the crowd was priceless.

One scene that really stood out to me was during the star spangled banner song when it says "the bombs bursting in air" the fireworks did a unique flashing sequence with a loud sound that sounded like "bombs bursting" and it was really cool.

I will add that this is probably the same fireworks show that they have been using for years during this holiday(with the addition of some Marvel and other projections) and it cant compare to the more modern shows that make you cry with nostalgia lol like Wondrous Journeys, but it was a great show to celebrate the holiday and a memory I will cherish.

The lanyard. And then it also came with stickers chip and dale fort wilderness and Disneyland hotel from what i remember. And buttons. It is two coasters, hats and lanyards per bag

I know i think the coasters were listed for $15.95 like is that worth it to package and drive to the post office and ship it lol id rather pixie dust for sure
