Current DVC Resorts vs SSR 12 Years??

Since SSR gives you 12 additional years over the current DVC Resorts and Contracts, what happens at the 12 year mark, do all the other DVC Resorts become something else and the SSR people can only Rent SSR (Or maybe anything else new that comes along with the same ending time)?

Does the SSR contract specifically state that you will still have the ability to rent at all DVC resorts for the life of your contract?

The SSR contract explicitly states that you are only guaranteed to be able to use your points at SSR during those last 12 years.

What will happen to the other resorts at that time has not been announced (and probably not even determined).

DVC does not guarantee that they will be any resorts beyond SSR so all you are guaranteed is SSR duirng that time.

But is that such a bad thing?

The way I look at it-I would much rather have 12 more years of vacations than nothing at all!!
