"NEW" Fall Incentive..

On 10/10 DVC unveiled a "new" discount program for those buying into the program for the first time. The previous incentives of $8 off at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas and $10 off at Saratoga Springs Resort are still in place.

However, those who are able to provide the name of an existing DVC member will get a one-time grant of 160 Developer's Points with an initial purchase of 225 points or more.
Effectively one could view this added bonus as granting new members a free vacation just for providing the name of a current member as a referral.

To summarize:

New Member WITHOUT Referral

160 pt minimum purchase
$96 per point net ($104 - $8 incentive) at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas
$94 per point net ($104 - $10 incentive) at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

New Member WITH Referral

225 pt minimum purchase (to obtain Developer's Points)
$96 per point net ($104 - $8 incentive) at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas
$94 per point net ($104 - $10 incentive) at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
One-time bonus of 160 Developer's Points

The 500 Disney VISA rewards dollar promotion. Wish we had had a Disney VISA prior to Sept 1st.

If you had a Disney VISA as of Sept 1st, 2007 and if you you want to put your 10% down payment for a NEW DVC purchase (not add on) on the card, you will get 500 Disney Rewards Dollars for doing so.

And I think you also get 6 months at 0% interests to pay off the down payment amount.. up to a certain limit.
